  1. Welcome to our forum Dons fan. Good opening post. Come next sunday i want to read about a good, hard fought, game with good refereeing, hard working players and no cheating from Pawlett. No controversy to talk about afterwards and definately no sending offs. Oh! and a result that reflects that the better team won.
  2. Dont think he should be dropped. We know he can do very well, especially when his defence are on form. And therein seems to be the problem. Maybe its time to get back to basics and start defending from the off.
  3. From the mouth of my wife..........."the referee was bad but that performance makes me embarassed to be a Caley Thistle supporter" I said last week that, regardless of who we were playing, we need to perform. I say now, and I hope there are players and coaches reading this, this team needs a damn good shake. Perform well and get beat is acceptable. Perform bad and get hammered is not. This is the same squad of players who were doing brilliant for the first half of the season. Whats changed now? The manager? The style of play? The tactics?
  4. And we will win it to be one of only two clubs with a chance of the double
  5. County were in the big cup final and if it wasn't for many folk like myself their crowd would have been a lot less. There were nuetrals out that day from all corners of the central belt and Perth.
  6. To the numerically inept thats 9m x6m or approx 29' 6" x 19' 6"
  7. Or cable I always thought it was available anywhere in UK on i.
  8. To get back to the subject my view is that your God is whoever or whatever you want it to be. Your beliefs are a very personal thing designed by you to give you peace of mind and a happiness of soul and something to cling to when your world is falling about around you. Sadly the wee free's see it as something very sinister with no joy and no football on a sunday. If thats their way then so be it. I'd rather it Bring me joy in my heart keep on scoring Be it sunday monday friday saturday Bring me joy in my heart I am begging For a silver trophy next sunday. Sing the Caley Sing the Caley Sing the Caley next sunday Sing the Caley Sing the Caley Bring that trophy back to me
  9. And its obvious God is a woman........who else would put paradise next to a midden. Many may need to think hard about that one but it has nothing to do with a football field in east Glasgow.
  10. Someone needs to tell them there's never been an Inverness Caley
  11. Those debating monetary union are not telling all the truths. They discuss the 'impact' part and brush over the important bits. Monetary union means that the bank of England, which Scotland has a 10% interest in, keeps tabs on interest and inflation for both countries. Break away from that and we take our fair share of UK assets, including our share of BoE. Our share of the military and our share of all other state owned assets. International experts have stated that the national debt belongs to UK so if rUK want to stay as such then they are responsible. What YES are actually saying is ' monetary union and the assets stay as they are' 'no monetary union and we demand our assets' 'you dont play ball then we dont pay. seems pretty fair to me.
  12. Been there once with a Celtic fan. Dont remember iof they do food but there's bound to be a decent burger van close by. Good beer though.
  13. If I were to choose between the two then its the second one for me.
  14. There are no excuses to be made, its our cup final and everyone who supports ICT will be there if they can. Its as simple as that, if its only 5000-8000 then so be it, thats all we've got and it doesn't embarrass me in the slightest. We are a new club with a fairly small support, crowds are not going to get any bigger any time soon. Yet Caley took 7000 to a midweek cup game in Perth when we were still a highland league club , shows what Inverness football fans think of ICT ! I suppose you have documented proof of that or is it another of your airy fairy comments. 7000 is 4000 more that what we have at an average home game so they should be commended and not critisised for making the effort. Will you be there DC? Sadly I wont. Believing in a man who died and then came back to life and in the meantime performed all kinds of crazy magic tricks and even walked on water. Include that with a talking bush, a talking snake, a talking donkey, seas parting and a guy who builds a massive boat that has everything on it from mice to donkeys to butterflies to Bigfoot to the Blue Whale! (no mention of the dinosaurs though! ). Seems plausible to me... They have the right to say and do what they like, but I have the right to say, they're nuts! Could be because they were wiped out long before christianity
  15. Next Sunday will be the 66th playing of this final and, if we win, we'll be the 15th team to get their name of the trophy.
  16. Considering the LL stand holds 13000 and the whole stadium holds 60,355 that leaves over 47,000 seats for other fans without using top tier of LL. My understanding is that the LL stand is the straight bit and doesnt include the corners. I could well be wrong though.
  17. Its only nonsense to those who have no faith. If there are people who still worship and who still believe in the sanctity of the sabbath then so be it. Thats their prerogative and I honestly dont think the rest of us have any right to make comment on their ideals and beliefs.
  18. The way I see it is this. Heres a young lad making an attempt at producing something everyone else has been asking for. When my children attempted something I'd never have put them down if I thought they had failed. I'd coach and encourage. Before you comment it would make sense to think of your own young folk before puting someone down for trying.
  19. Seems like Aberdeen are going to bring their biggest ever support to this final. A support over three times that of an average home match. I wonder where they are all coming from. To be fair to us we look like assembling over twice our average home gates for this one and it will certainly be the biggest ever away support in ICT's history. In light of all the reasons for people not to attend matches in the current climate I think we have to be commended for mustering such a large van for such an important battle. In this the 700th anniversary of Bannockburn it should be remembered that 6000 Scots troops won the day against Edwards 18000.
  20. Naw they've got to stay up next season. Potentially we will be the only proper local derby in the top league. If Rangers get back the season after then the finances would be offset and the crowds would increase a bit I do enjoy a derby game, especially at Dingwall.
  21. Well I'm not there through no fault of mine. SPFL failed to check my calendar before choosing the date. Anyway I've a plan to make our end of the ground look even more full. Fill up the front row. Second row fill every second seat. Third row do the same but staggered so each person is sitting behind an empty seat. Do this all the way back and it'll give the impression that there are more people than there actually is. With the noise I know we can make it'll sound like theres more people as well.
  22. The archives of history.......just like the memories of that episode.
  23. Come on then. Lets see actions where mouth is. Can you do better?
  24. At the end of the day the club needs a shirt sponsor. Someone with a decent sized advertising budget willing to give a helping hand. Tulloch Homes seem to be on the up just now. One Touch support the youth so doubt if they'd come back. What other decent sized business is there in the area? One company that could be worth approaching is Moray Offshore Renewables. They have been given the goahead to build the worlds largest windfarm in the outer Moray Firth. They also have permission for Forth and Tay firths and are very likely to use the Ardersier site for their activities.
  25. My golden lab totally takes after his namesake. He's big and strong, good on his feet, stubborn at times and a bit think at other times. My wife called him............... BREWSTER
