ICT -V- Gretna : matchday thread
The only negativity I have is for the twats who had a "Brewster Out" Flag tied to the barrier, just beside the Magic Marius Romanaian Flag. Fortunately a club official took it down just after kickoff - and it turned out that the brave souls who had made the flag were sitting miles away from it. Otherwise a very good day. Disappointed if that is the case, the BENI usually lead by example. Wether you like him or not, Brewster is the manager for the forseable future, and should have our 100% backing. Although 6 different scorers including two youngsters and your January signing is a good way for anyone to answer their critics, well done Brew :022:

Good Luck To Rangers !
I still disagree about defensive football, but that is a very valid point. One thing to bear in mind though, is that had Barcelona dropped into the Uefa Cup, and been drawn against Fiorentina, Fiorentina would have played the to the exact same game plan that Rangers did against themselves.

Good Luck To Rangers !
:015: :015: :015: :015: I always find it funny when we people moan about defensive football. Barring the simple fact that it gets results, I didn't hear anyone complain when we won at Ibrox despite camping on our own goaline, or perhaps our national team should have gone to Paris attacked the whole game. What I find even funnier is that the Fiorentina (as expected) are also having ago, despite Italy inventing this type of football.

Barry Wilsons Testimonial (merged topics)
Is there not a Scotland game that night?

Barry Wilsons Testimonial (merged topics)
First of all, the "Newcastle Echo" doesn't exist. Suddenly, I've just searched it into the Google and the closest thing that there is, The Northern Echo. Thirdly, in the Northern Echo, there is nothing about Barry Wilson. Oooo Burned

Cannavaro. Read the game like nothing I have ever seen before, played a much bigger part in the 2-1 defeat than any of our half-wit journalists realised.

Brewsters Last Game??
What you think of Brew as a manager is irrelevant. Wonderful player, wonderful professional. Deserves a proper send off.

I BELIEVE ..... in Brewster
Colud it be that the club is now falling back into place?

Juanjos Back....................
Malky told the official site: "Both guys came with a real enthusiasm and preformed well and I'm sure the manager will make a decision soon on the pair."

Aberdeen Clearout
I always thought he was on less than Miller was getting which was between ?3k - ?4k a week. Hmm Wyness and Deano would both probably need to go (both must be earning a tidy sum considering their previous clubs) but if he is earning so little, he might be worth the gamble. As for Nicholson, was he not rumoured to be on up to 7k a week during the whole contract rebels saga?

Aberdeen Clearout
Lovell is an excellent finisher, however, there is no way he is on less than Marius is. Remember, as long as he's been up here, Lovell is english, so will probably return south.

Icts Great Unanswered Questions
What makes you think that? You mean like it didn't work against Celtic? But remember the formation that day was 4-2-3-1. Almost like having 4 forwards. It doesn't seem to work here does it. :017: I never said it worked here.

You mean like it didn't work against Celtic? Long ball tactics can be used to great effect when used correctly.

Has Niculae been worth it?
If any other player had played like Marius has played this season, he would be up for our player of the year. I have noticed little things with Marius recently, his fitness is improving, he is getting on with the rest of the team, and he is beginning to work out Scottish football. Do I think he has been "worth it" is an entirely different question. I am yet to see a direct quote that says the players give a pump about Marius' wage bill, we have all been told that Marius has been the route of the problem, but I have never seen any substantial evidence to back this up, in the interviews I have read with players, they never have a bad word to say about Marius. IF he has been the route of all the behind the scenes problems, then no he has not been worth it. However, I don't think he has.

As a newish fan of Caley, I hold my hands up to needing help.
Possibly because there are too many old jaggies ready to moan and rustle sweety wrappers at over use of the term Caledonia(n)? Good shout
