The win against Hamilton means we have now defeated, in Inverness, all the clubs who have ever been members of the SPL/Premiership.

We've also won away at all these clubs - except Partick Thistle! (although we've beaten them at Firhill in the 1st Division).

March, next year is our chance to complete the 'set'! It's quite an achievement.

Aberdeen

Celtic

Dundee

Dundee United

Dunfermline Athletic

Falkirk

Gretna

Hamilton Accies

Hearts

Hibernian

Kilmarnock

Livingston

Motherwell

Partick Thistle (still to beat 'away' in the top-flight)

Rangers

Ross County

St. Johnstone

St. Mirren

Who are Rangers?

And here is that anorak, with Renegade and myself looking on enviously.

Meanwhile, Sneckboy was overjoyed at receiving his well deserved accolade.

Here's a wee challenge for anyone with too much time on their hands.

I'd be interested to know which teams:

1. we have played most times

2. we have the largest number of wins against

3. we have the largest number of defeats to

There was definitely a time (probably about 8 or so years ago) that the team we had lost to the most was Falkirk.  I suspect it is now Celtic.

As for our largest number of wins, it it would be nice if it were County, although I'd expect St Mirren to be up there too.

Head to head v St Mirren = 24 wins, 14 draws, 9 defeats.

Head to head v Falkirk = 10 wins, 8 draws, 21 defeats.

Head to head v Ross County = 22 wins, 11 draws, 11 defeats

Head to head v Celtic = 6 wins, 5 draws 27 defeats

Stats from soccerbase and I cant be errsed looking at more

A chance beckons to complete the set! And to add another entry to the 'Milestones achieved' list. We managed to win at Firhill in the cup earlier in the season, so hopefully we can get the points tomorrow and edge nearer a European place!

Does defeating Partick Thistle and their posse of QCs in the eventual vote to get into the SPL in 2004 not count as an away win?

...but is now being 'bumped'! Partick Thistle away is the next game!
Can we finally do it, when we return after the break?!

C'mon, let's complete the set!
Unfortunately, we may have a club called 'Rangers' in the league next season. And, as they're new to me, and Scotland's top-flight, we'll obviously have to beat them home-and-away at some stage, to maintain our record!

I shouldn't worry too much about that lot Sneckboy they could be bankrupt shortly, into administration and given another term in the Championship by the SFA.. They wont get far with the  current team so will have to spend, spend, spend.

A chance to complete the 'set' tomorrow!
Reminder:
On league duty, Inverness CT have beaten every team (home-and-away) who has ever been in the SPL/Premiership - except Partick Thistle at Firhill!
This will obviously change next season with a new team in the ranks! But, for now, it's the Maryhill club who are something of a jinx!

It is 'only' 4 matches, but our record is: 0 wins, 1 draw, 3 defeats.

Now,,,for The Rangers!

This is kind of related...

i was speaking to Red Card in the pub yesterday about our travels watching ICT so I did a bit of checking.

I've been at all the 41 league grounds but to my knowledge ICT have never played at Dumbarton or Annan. I've also never seen them play at Elgin or Berwick or Peterhead. I've never seen them win at Cowdenbeath, Stranraer, East Fife (New Bayview) or QoS. That takes it down to 32 where I've seen us win.

I've seen ICT win at old Bayview though, and Gretna, and Love Street, and Firs Park which used to be ground 42. Also seen them play at Boghead but lose.

As an aside, the Shire, the club which provided ICT's first competitive game on 9/8/94 may be about to disappear from the League setup if Edinburgh City beat them next week.
