I have just received a telephone call from Pat Nevin who assures me that, off the record, that it was my humanitarian plea that swayed the decision. I am also assured that Marius is going to buy me a double vodka and coke with his first wage.

Just a wee thought for the rest of the squad here, I hope all that I have read about disgruntlement over this guy's wages is just the usual press lies. If not we the support would like you to know that without you guys there is no way we would be in the position to attract high profile players like this and we appreciate all that you have done for us.

Great news for the team, just what was needed after Saturday, best draw a line under that and start again from this weekend.

Would like to have seen Marius and Graham paired up against Motherwell.

Fantastic news - the season ahead is now looking a lot more rosy.

He'll knack himself on Saturday and be out for the rest of the season, just watch.

I can imagine that Niculae will start from the bench.

Good news but it's bound to take a few weeks for him to reach full match fitness.

And the best way to get match fit is.............................  play games !

CC has commented a couple of times that Niculae has done exceptionally well in training on both the technical and fitness front.

That just leaves "match practice" and the only way he will get that now is by playing.

Our strike force was blunt last week so I would expect him to make his debut, possibly alongside Dean McDonald or maybe Bayne.
