May 25, 200917 yr He played for Rep Ireland internationally but he's from Paisely so I'd probably call him Scottish.

May 25, 200917 yr Well done Burnley, and Owen Coyle in particular. When we played them in the pre season friendly, who'd have predicted the differing fortunes of the two clubs at season's end?
May 25, 200917 yr Good to have another Scottish manager in the Premiership.... Even with his Irish connections.... Will Celtic go after him?
May 25, 200917 yr Author Well done Burnley, and Owen Coyle in particular. When we played them in the pre season friendly, who'd have predicted the differing fortunes of the two clubs at season's end? Very true - quite a contrast.

May 25, 200917 yr Will Celtic go after him? Prob will but hopefully Coyle will be loyal and stand by the club since he got them to the premiership. Plus i think he would rather play against the like off Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool etc.... than Hearts, Falkirk, Killie etc.....
May 25, 200917 yr Oh no! Does this mean that Borrowman scored against a Premiership standard defence after his goal in pre-season? :tonguecheek:

May 26, 200917 yr Congrats to Coyle. He's done an amazing job at Burnley. One wonders what would have happened if we'd have gotten him instead of the wonderful Brewster!! :014:
May 26, 200917 yr I read that Graham Alexander has played in all 61 of their games this season...aged 37. Yep scoring 11 goals aswel pretty good for a defender. Alexander has never played for a scottish club.
May 26, 200917 yr To think we got Brewster instead of Coyle. Thats an amazing job he has done with Burnley and good luck to them in the premier league next season i say. They've played and beaten the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea on penalties and were within touching distance of overturning that 3 goal deficit against Spurs so they have got spirit. I can see them being a supirise package next season.
