Apologies if I've missed the obvious, but why is Alan Morgan so far out the picture ?

He lacks his old spice.

What does he use now..?

I was expecting big things from him this season and don't know what has happened.  I suppose we have quite a few midfielders and he has been squeezed out.  You could replace the midfield against Hibs with Black, Morgan, Keogh and Hart and they could be equally effective.

DJS makes a good point. We have great depth in midfield. I'm not sure Charlie knows what his best midfield is and i'm sure Morgan will have a part to play at some stage this season. He has probabably suffered from the fact that we are obliged to have two youngsters on the bench.

Is he playing in the reserves?

I hope he comes back into the starting lineup. I thought he was really good for us last year.

Still the fact that we have a midfield good enough to make it hard for him to get back is surely an excellent thing.

Morgan could be a candidate for being farmed out to Peterhead.

I believe that Morgan is one of the players being discussed as a candidate for a loan to Peterhead.

Could be a good thing for him and any other fringe players, from what i've seen of Morgs during reserve games, he didnt look too interested so maybe more competitive games will bring him on, it worked well when we lent out Barry Robson.

Didn't hear it myself but apparently MFR were saying this morning that he's being farmed out on loan - I assume to Peterhead

Cant see the logic in farming him out to any club. We are desperately short of a wide players and from what I have seen from Morgan he is more of a wide player than Mcbain will ever be .

He really deserves a run of a few games and not the 10to 20 mins he usually gets from the bench.
