This is the first time we have added this thread, which is loosely based on our matchday threads .... and just for clarity I wanted to explain a little of the rationale behind it ....

Every week we get asked by Supporters Club, Supporters Trust, and (often) the Ticket Office to highlight details of the forthcoming away games...... Until now we have had a separate thread for each request and all are pinned to the top of the forum.

As most site users know, we don't like having too many pinned threads so I decided it was time to merge all these separate travel and ticketing threads into a single pinned thread for each away game. not only does that cut down the number of pinned threads every week, but it also serves to give supporters all information about an away game in one single thread. It is then up to the supporters themselves to decide which bus they may want, and what to do about their tickets .....

Realising that not everyone travels from Inverness, or may not travel by one of the buses, we have also left a section at the bottom to add any travel deals people might find and want to share with other users ... we will happily highlight them at the top of the thread if you add details inside the thread ....

We also have no objection to users adding to this thread with the roll-call or 'where to meet' info but as we dont normally pin the "roll-call" thread, thats up to the site users, we wont force you to use this thread for that .... we'll just see how these new travel threads develop and adjust the guidelines based on that ......

Just one wee thing scotty... the train picture... It's a virgin train. I know Gringo (and possibly IHE and other travelling from Ingerland-shire) will use their service, but surely a Scotrail train would be more appropriate

Speaking of trains, the current cheapest adult return fare from 'ness to Carntyne is ?55, with an 0918 departure from ness.

If you want to walk over to Central for the Dalmarnock train, that fare is still ?55, and the train still leaves 'ness at 0918.

I really need to emphasise that there will be NO CASH GATES on Saturday. Tickets will have to be bought in advance from our Ticket Office or online. Online tickets are processed in Inverness, so you need to order them by close of business today (Tuesday) to be absolutely sure of delivery if you require them posted. Please don't leave it until the last minute and then miss out.

Where are the Trust bus folk likely to be going once in Glasgow pre-match? Most of the Glasgow based guys will be in the London Road Tavern prior to kick off......

Strictly over 18s I'm afraid. I remember because there were a few kids standing outside waiting for their Dad's, I didn't think that sort of thing happened any more lol
