Just to remind folk, the average Celtic first team player earns £20k/week.  The average ICT first team player earns less than a twentieth of that.  Some people have some rather unreasonable expectatio

As I will be at the game, updates will not be done unless mods or others take care of it. updates to follow later ........

Here's hoping you've got plenty to cheer today Scotty! ⚽️

Oh dear - Williams in again. Brown will make mincemeat of him. Draper can't do it all himself! Frustrated!

Disappointed that Raven is not starting.

Christie on the bench ! Hope Pepper will play.

I'm pretty surprised to see Williams in there again. Hughes is obviously seeing something that we haven't. It it isn't working though, I'd liek to see him make changes a bit earlier today.

In other news, anyone see that Hector Bizerk rap on BT Sport? I'm still crippled from the embarrassment of it.

3 mins...... I hope they aren't going to try to get back from 4 nil down again

Really terrible ball out of defence made that possible. We need to be much more vigilant and much calmer in trying to begin  moves. Don't know if it was Shinnie or Draper that played the ball, but whoever it was had enough time to look for a man.

At the start of the game I was thinking how much of a hot head draper would be and then a few minutes later he floors the ref....Respect.

Great chance for McKay on the half hour mark.  Think he was surprised that he had a virtually free header.

Apart from the lack of chances, we're actually playing better football than we did against Partick. Might be to do with Celtic not closing us down as much, but there have been a few decent moves with, unfortunately, no end product. Haven't seen enough of Celtic to know, but they sort of look like they are playing within themselves. After that start I expected them to up the tempo much more than they have,

Apart from being caught out early on, we've not been outplayed by this Celtic team.  Every chance we could do something in the second half.  Pretend we're four down and maybe we'll be ok.

Good response to conceding an early goal. Really need to stoke it up for next 45: next goal crucial! C'mon Inverness!!

I don't think williams is a midfielder and should stick to the wings!

can connor pepper play that position?

Pepper can play as a midfielder. Hope we'll see him shortly alongside Draper.

0-1FT. Sounds like a reasonable showing, but no finish, unfortunately. Raven needs to start and Williams replaced by either Tremarco or Pepper!

On the balance of possession, we were probably a bit unlucky to lose that, although we didn't create too many clear chances. Much more creative and patient in the build up than we were against Partick - hopefully we take that into the derby. Williams was probably a bit better than he was in the previous two games and showed some nice touches in linking play, but still looks very lightweight in that area. Meekings was excellent at the back and Shinnie and Watkins again linked very well going forward. The most encouraging thing about the whole game was Ryan Christie's performance as a late sub - several great little touches around the edge of the area, and a tenacious bit of ball retention on the left. He looked desperate to be involved in everything and offered more in less than ten minutes than Toby has in all his sub appearances put together.

was very uninspiring with celtic happy to sit on there lead. They were there for the taking but we didnt create anything. One thing i did notice was that when we went 2 up there was more space maybe we should get an extra man forward. Apart from that we passed it well at times but didnt create so all in all a pretty boring game

0-1. We lost but players showed willingness and Brill did big saves again !

At least DUFC are losing at St J (and down to 10 men).

I thought we played a decent passing game, especially in the second half. No the worst result against Celtic. SawJH post match interview, talks more tactical sense than TB. Looking forward to RC game.

Think its time to bring Raven back in to the team and I would move Shinnie into midfield until Foran is back, Williams just isn't cutting it. Doubt Hughes will see that though as he appears to have a soft spot for him.

I`d be quite happy for Yogi to start changing things around soon. Some players need resting or dropping.

Doran, Ross, Draper come into this category & drop the Shinnie in at right back unless necessary.
