Read on BBC teletext this afternoon that Ryan Stevenson will miss semi of league cup so that is good news as he'd have been a threat to us.

I was initially, very briefly, a little miffed that Hearts had managed to engineer this but I now really could care less. Playing St Mirren before it gives them less time to prepare anyway. Hearts ar

I'm looking forward to it but worried so e getting wayyyy too cocky. For hearts the league is a goner and this is all they've got left. However, if we play the way we can there shouldn't be anything t

  • Yip. This will be Hearts last opportunity to do anything at all this season and they will be dangerous highly motivated opponents not to be taken lightly.

Yep, Paul McCallum in to replace King, and the bid to get in Skacel to replace Combe, who has had his registration ended has been rejected according to the Beeb.

SPFL have rejected a request from Hearts to register Rudi Skacel.

Common sense prevails!

This year's Ngoo ?

Yup!

So much for rules eh? What a coincidence that they're allowed to bring a striker in on loan JUST IN TIME to play us in the semis 2 years in a row. It obviously wasn't enough to give them home advantage, or to make the kick off time as inconvenient for Inverness fans as possible. Pretty obvious to me who the SPFL want in the final.

Think they were always allowed one in one out as long as u21 tbf. Got refused permission to sign Skacel tho.

Huge irony that this thread extended to 5 pages! What were we worried about! The quickly re-arranged fixture to accommodate him likely back-fired with the Hearts boys unable to muster much in extra-time! Stevenson didn't even get a start! And then he makes a **** of himself by kicking the ball away in celebration before high-fiving the fans!

Sweet justice for an over-rated buffoon!

The extra game also meant Man of the Match, Hamill, just fell over in Nick's wake and Paterson was so tired he just pushed the ball to Nick. In 10 days time the next fixture against Hearts could be quite meaty with their team possibly fresher than ours.

Remember Hearts have a free weekend whilst we have a very tough game against Stranraer in what could be quite tiring weather conditions. In addition we might just have a replay next week so we need to watch out for the Hearts revenge ambush. We need three vital points from them.
