Forget today, we must beat Killie

Celtic is history, Robson and his merry men are history, all we need to focus on for just under 7 days is improving our disappointing away form and beat the odds and beat Killie. They have a cup final to worry about. We have Motherwell and a chasing pack to worry about catching Killie. Let's do it!

Probably the most important game in our history.

The ultimate 'six pointer'. I really hope the boys will be up for this one and try to get, what's left of the season, back on track for that top six slot. I take it Granty will be suspended after his red un'? Could be a tough call but ICT are capable of pulling this one off.

Got to say it, were gonna have to be on form to get a result there.

Really hope we can do it though.

hardley the most important game in our history though!

killie are gash.  they almost lost to dunfermline

so did we but

Gordy, it has to be the most important game in our history because we have never finished in the top 6. Yesterday was the second most important game in our history. The rest of our achievements are all history and we cannot like Celtic live on the night in Lisbon nostalgia for decades.

The players and supporters have to believe in the same way we did when we went to Clyde and clawed our way back into the title race. Barry showed he believed yesterday after his massive disappointment against Celtic. Now everybody else must believe and for Caff his SPL career went into hibernation at Killie when he was unfairly sent off. His career could be resurrected for a similar reason if he plays out of his skin next Saturday until the 95th or 96th minute or whenever the man in black blows his whistle.

Now - that is the mentality that we require.  :022:

"The rest of our achievements are all history and we cannot like Celtic live on the night in Lisbon nostalgia for decades." - and your name is?

Subtle.................but very effective :015: :015: :015:

most important game in our history.............nah

important game.............so so

another game.............yes

a game ......................definitely

the most important game in our history was probably beating Clyde 1-2 to give us what we have today.

thank you hissy, thank you, superb goal, set us up nicely for winning the title..................now that was important.

i'm going to make the exact point that tm4tj did.

the 2-1 win at broadwood will likely remain the most important game in our history for a long time. getting into the spl was and is a fantastic achievement. the top 6 split is just a current league format that will likely be changed in a number of years anyway.

and the happiness of beating killie will not compare to the feeling of sitting top of the first division with one game left.

The sentiments of IMMORTAL KINGSMILLS PARK are being considered in the context of changing my logon to Killie1Caley2!

The next four matches are crucial.

The difference between tenth and sixth place in financial terms is over £300,000. That sort of cash will have a huge impact on ourability to recruit and retain players for next season.

No matter whether people think the Killie game is 'crucial' or not, it should make an extremely exciting end to the pre-split.  Looking at the games coming up i honestly believe we have a real chance of making the top 6.

That's assuming we beat Killie on Saturday however - if we can narrow the gap to three points we should be able to get 6 points min in our last three games whereas Killie have to play two teams above them, and motherwell.

It's all to play for - now lets get a win on Saturday!

like to point out that we are 6 points behind hibs aswell
