Dale Gillespie and Jamie Duff sign new deals

Just in case anyone missed North Tonight, it was mentioned that Dale and Jamie both signed new 2 year deals  :021:

I've been impressed in the pre-season matches by them both, so hope they'll get a game before the end of the season.

I particularly liked the distribution and confidence of Dale, and hope he'll fill the void if Duncan moves on.

I've heard a lot of good reports about Dale, so here's hoping that he will make the grade in the near future.  I also have high hopes that Iain Vigurs will soon justify a place in the first team.

Yes it would be nice to view some of the youngsters

I think it's good that caley are an spl team and try to take on youngsters!!

It's good for the team!!

Duff is my sisters old pe teachers son!!

Apart from Fraser (Whom I dont really rate), have we sucsessfully brought thro ANY home bred players at any level over the years. I honestly cant think of ANY of the top of my head

Ooops :crazy06: Any others?

Fraser's good!!

he has bad and good games but don't all goal keepers!!

if you can breed two regular first team players in our very short existance you are doing exceptionally well.

Could be argued that Tokely was one. He was actually about six months younger than Grant when he signed, though Grant signed on S form Tokers came straight into first team.

The same could be said of Hastings.  He was only 19 or so when he signed was he not and this was in the 3rd division days so any development is down to ICT.  Any good work was undone at county!

Tokley was on professional forms at both Aberdeen and Huntly before he signed for us so we can't really claim him as a product of our youth system. Same goes for Hastings who played for Caley in the Highland League did he not ?
