  1. We moan about poor refereeing decisions but what about this. I think the referee was admiring the quality of the save and didn't clock it wasn't the keeper who made it. http://www.youtube.c...player_embedded

  2. Sounds like a good idea. Players at some clubs have no idea how it feels to be relegated or win league cups, they may just play in the same league all their playing career and dont know about the real highs and lows of football. Funnily enough I was reading through The Inverness couriers Path to the premier league 1994-2004 last night. It mentioned our Chairman Dougie McGilvary having a bet with Tam Cowan in November 1996 that we would be an SPL club in 8 years Tams wager was a pie and Doug raised the ante to ?500, Dougie also mentioned that if Tam coughed up he would double it and donate it to charity. A Mr Scott MacKenzie also had a few things to say .Caleythistleonline.com. We usually have texters at the match who keep someone in the chatroom updated about how the game is going if it isnt carried live on the web. On a normal Saturday there might be as many as 25 users in the website chat room and it really is a global audience as some of the more regular visitors include Wanderer China, Gabby Australia, DC Weeman USA, Luv Gravy Canada, Yimp France.as well as some closer to home who just cant make it to that days game. ----------------------- There are Caley Thistle supporters all over the globe and we celebrated in all four corners of the world at the same time as the Caledonian stadium erupted when the final whistle blew on the final day of the season. Next season just cant come quick enough for Caledonian Thistle to begin its second decade. Lets hope its as successful as the first 10 years.

  4. No IMO!! Waste of time and man power. Facebook has many caley fan sites that have the info available. I doubt having an official F/B would increase attendances, shirts sales or the popularity of the club.

  6. I see from today's Courier that a small element of away fans damaged seats on Saturday. To a degree I blame the stewards because they allowed the away fans to stand and not for the first time this season. Now when it comes to the home end our fans are usually made to sit down. Similarly, when you go to McDiarmid Park the Saints' stewards make you sit down. So why didn't our stewards wade in earlier and sort things out before the seats got damaged, "over-exuberance" or otherwise?

  7. Seats got damaged. Saints will get a bill and they may or may not pay it. Seats have been damaged in the home stand in the past. We all want to stand at football yet we frequently call for stewards to make people sit down. Doesn't make sense really.

  9. Yes IMO!! Any promotion is good promotion and it's only a matter of time before they are on there anyway. There was probably a time when people were asking the same questions about the relevance of an official ICT site, online club shop or CTO... get with the times daddio

  10. It's really important that we beat Hivs on Saturday with the chasing pack gaining by the game . Aberdeen are only 4 points behind now .

  11. Just a note to remind people that this forum is not an official club communication point, and whilst I don't doubt that there's people who will pass information on when they see it, you should not be relying on such and it's safer if you contact the club directly with any questions, requests or information.
