    Its Johnny Djebi-Zadi
  3. It all seems a bit childish, I had assumed it was a fan of County when I read the earlier posts but now it would seem it was an ICT fan.
  4. What seems to have escaped this so called "Fan" is that what we do is for the benefit of the club and in trying to achieve whatever it is they think they are doing, it's not the site (or those who run it) who will suffer. I wouldn't expect this kind of petty minded silliness from any fan of the game, far less someone who claims to be "one of our own". It's unfortunate that PayPal took the stance they did, despite us having had the "rules" of the player sponsorship checked out by lawyers (yup, that's the extreme some people force us to have go to) when we were threatened on this before, but they (PayPal) were ultimately quite helpful when it came to the proposed solution...and as Scotty points out, probably did us a favour in the long run by pushing us along a more suitable way of doing things.
  5. in hindsight, making it a subscription group is probably a better idea anyway so this person actually did us a favour in the long run
  6. As it stands at the moment if Rooney is away. We're weak up front and at centre back, not a great combination.....still 2 months to the end of the window though, so lets stay positive as there must surely be some good signings coming!
  7. I hope it is St Mirren, but I fear that if Dunfermline are relying on Barrenman for goals, they have no chance. History shows that the promoted team nearly always stays up, but I'm not sure if the Pars really shone sufficiently in a weaker than ever Div 1 to convince me that they will do well. So they get my vote, reluctantly.
  8. Innocent until proven guilty and all that ..... If Hearts sacked him for being charged with a crime then they might have been on a sticky wicket in terms of employment laws. However, IMHO, they should have torn up his contract the second he pled guilty. There are some crimes that are forgivable...we can all do stupid things and have a price to pay if we get caught doing them. There are also more serious crimes where you can say you are "going through a learning curve" and after accepting your punishment you will aim to be better and not do it again. However, IMHO, crimes against children do not fall into either of those categories where I would be willing to forgive and forget. Children lose their innocence all too soon these days and anyone seeking to hasten that process or to use their social standing (ie. professional footballer) in this manner is just scum, pure and simple. To their credit, most Hearts fans want rid of him too !

Pity I had hoped he'd leave. Doubt any other SPL club would have offered him a contract though

    I hope Duff stays.

I am concerned that this could be reliable Duff information - Duff looks as good right back as we have had since Rosscoe was in his hay day - I never really rated Proctor as a defender in general BUT Duff could hold his own at full back and could fill gaps in midfield whilst Proctor would be more of a squad player. My opinion is that they could both do a job for us and I would hope to keep them both - unless new signings arrive in their positions or trialists prove they can provide better cover.
