Question is whether Lennon will rest a few for this game and look to dish out the hiding on Saturday rather than tomorrow ..... this is the least important cup, and albeit arrogant, they may figure beating County is 'relatively easy' and sending out a full squad to take three points against a frequently difficult opponent at the weekend is more important and justifies a weakened team for this game .... This is also very valid and may counteract what I said above .... a strong team, rip County a new one as payback for the Scottish Cup and also to ease the pain of the weekend ... they may figure that even with a strong team out for this game, they will still be in good shape for the weekend ..... so really .... I havent got a feckin clue !!! I do know I want Celtic to win this one !!! not because of any Celtic bias or hatred for County but because if County win then Celtic WILL rip us a new one at the weekend if they get beaten by Rangers then County is successive games ! If County can help us out with a few hard knocks to any first teamers that are playing then even better .... no lasting injuries, just enough of a dunt to keep them out of action until Sunday or Monday ;)2 points

I know the Juanjo incident is way in the past now and i'm sure he's even got over it but it seems that Lennon hasn't. He has a new book out (yes, he can spell!!!) 'Man and Bhoy'. It's such a good book that the Daily Record were giving it away for free a couple of weeks ago. I had no intention of reading it as it does not interest me, however I flicked the pages to the index section to see where ICT are mentioned. Twice, we are mentioned, first of all regarding the 1-0 cup defeat of Celtic when Robbo was in charge and then nearly a whole page on the Juanjo incident. Obviously for copyright reasons I cannot go into detail word for word and there is no external link, so I will keep it as non-plagiarised as possible. He mentions Juanjo 'poking his head into his face'. The TV cameras did not see it. Fourth official Alan Freeland saw it and the referee rightly sent off Juanjo. 'Juanjo said he didn't touch me - well he would say that wouldn't he?'. He finishes this segment of the book off complaining that the SFA let Juanjo off and 'imagine what would have happened if it was the other way around?' I've never had any issues with Lennon, other than the Juanjo incident and I have said for the last few years now, that it is forgotten. I know many fellow ICT fans still often bring it up during conversations about Lennon. However, Juanjo was proven innocent and there is no need for Lennon to lie like this in his book. Maybe it stirs things up by me mentioning this topic on here, but as a support we have to stick up for any of our ex players - especially good professionals like Juanjo who is having his name dragged through the gutter again. Many Celtic fans that have read this book and weren't there / didn't see the footbage / were too young will now forever associate Juanjo as a thug. We all know the truth though. He is a skilfull player, who Lennon could not cope with that day and had to cheat to win the match.1 point

If Terry keeps losing his temper then he will eventually lose his job I fear. That will only make things worse all round. Golabart simply did not go in to that tackle with intent . He was a ***** and the D .U . player simply overran him. Gollo must learn to be macho and determined IMHO BUT a stern word from Terror Terry would have been enough not a tongue lashing. Itw as Terry B that decimated a decent team out of a mad desire to be successful, overnight and threw caution to the winds And now he has no players and no cohesion. Sorry Terry, take your licks and face up to it --YOU caused it !1 point

Am I not right in thinking that Hogg and Munro both left but Hogg couldnt get a club so came back? Not dissing Jones yet just stating that I hadn't seen enough. Man of the match doesn't always give a true reflection I am afraid. Did we sign a good standard of defender this summer? My opinion, no. We then get injuries and take young emergancy loans. Did we sign good defensive midfielders this summer? Not to be convinved. I like the look off Tansey but he is no defensive player. Did we sign decent forward this year? No. Did we let key players in all these positions go or have leave at the end of a contact? Yes. With this in mind you open yourself up to be effected by injuries. You end up with emergancy loans like Golabart, Chippendale, Davis and Aldred. It aint burst yet but we are running out of fingers to plug this particular dyke!1 point

someone sent me this joke .... I wonder why !!! A Scotsman moves to Canada and attends his first baseball game. The first batter approaches the batters' box, takes a few swings and then hits a double. Everyone is on their feet screaming "Run" The next batter hits a single. The Scotsman listens as the crowd again cheers "RUN RUN". The Scotsman is enjoying the game and begins screaming with the fans. The fifth batter comes up and four balls go by. The Umpire calls: "Walk." The batter starts his slow trot to first base. The Scot stands up and screams, "Run ye lazy bastard, RRUNN!" The people around him begin laughing. Embarrassed, the Scot sits back down. A friendly fan notes the man's embarrassment, leans over and explains, "He doesn't have to run -- he's got four balls." The Scot stands up and screams: "Walk with pride, Laddie!" made me chuckle anyway !1 point

If Terry reads these Forums then maybe he should take some advice from the fans before he decides to turn on one, regardless of what the fans are saying they pay their money and are entitled to voice their opinions. He must also remember that he is the face of the club and therefore any unneccessary exposure especially in the face of bad results will be picked up on straight away and be focussed on more, he is working and must keep a professional head on regardless of his feelings. The best thing he could do is apologise in some way for his actions towards said fan(s) I wasn't there so can only comment generally but it is not the sort of behavior I expect from the manager of my team. I am still 100% behind TB but if he is losing the head how does that portray to the players as well.0 points
