  1. Indeed it would. Who would score our goals?
  2. Play all Friday night football on a Saturday at 3pm.
  3. Agree with you why Robbo keeps playing White is baffling he is just not mobile i have been saying for weeks now like many others the home draws are going to haunt us

Agreed - I have that feeling too. Whether the break is the summer, a week, or even just half-time!

A good win v one of the project brave 'elite' clubs today.
  6. We're drawn away against Edinburgh City. Potential banana skin against an ambitious club who are going well in Division 2 but a match we simply have to win.
  7. Dundee United benefited from a new manager bounce when winning away at Patrick, a side better resourced than us. We played reasonably well today but, as has become the norm, struggled for creativity in the final third. Donaldson will be a loss against Alloa next week as he has probably been our most consistent performer this season. Unlike some of our most recent draws, a point gained rather than two points lost.
  8. Good display up to midfield area then nothing. White is meant to be a holding lone striker and overall he wasn’t great. Need to change our ideas up front if we want to score and win games. The passing in the first have was decent and closing down too. Can see the potential but not sure we have the bit of flair to spark something when we need it.

I'm worried about this one, I really hope I am wrong obviously, but I think this is where that unbeaten run comes to an end. Neilson will have them playing his way already. Always feel we come off the back of a break looking sluggish too, again I hope I am totally wrong
  10. It had been coming. Seems we can only put in a performance over just one half of a game !!!! Same issues as I have seen on previous weeks....... who exactly is it we are expecting to score for us????? Good to see some decent crosses and and good corners, but no out & out goal scorer to convert our chances !!!!

I'm feeling good about this one.....3-0 win for us ?
  12. Fully expected that response from someone...glad not to be disappointed...ya kant. ?
  13. It's a no from me as well for two reasons. Firstly it would undoubtedly reduce the number of away fans at games. Whilst Don makes some fair points regarding travelling support, I think that away fans are important in improving the atmosphere at games and a good atmosphere makes for a better match day experience for all. Secondly, the future of the game depends on the enthusiasm of youngsters. Late kick off times when it is dark and cold is not going to encourage parents to take young children to matches. There is an urgent need to get more youngsters going regularly to matches. Many of us got hooked on watching football when we were in primary school, so anything which makes it less likely that that age group will attend matches needs to have some pretty compelling arguments to justify it.
  14. No. Might be favorable for some home fans, but kills any away travel. The idea that by moving to a Fri night will reduce the competition of other activities I think is unlikely as every option whether it be shopping, movies, theater or even kids activities/sports can be equally scheduled on a Fri night as a Sat. What we need is regular Sat 3pm games, with the removal of TV options at any times on a Sat around those games as this provides too much of an alternative option/distraction for football fans affecting footfall. Televised football should be seen as a nice novelty not the norm.
  15. Adam Rooney scored again for Salford tonight. That is 6 in 7 games. Would they notice if we swapped him for our Rooney?
