Agree to a point, last year was an aberration and not a fair comparison. Partick sacked their manager for less. The negativity is just disappointment, and understandable, people have seen 7.5 hrs of football and 6 of those were draws with teams we were expected to beat. There might be many dour fans, but isn't that the point of football - to be entertained and escape the humdrum - I'm not sure where the lime between duty and obligation and entertainment is in football. Anyway, yes - everything is on track, but too early for plaudits.

2017/18: 9th / goals for: 10 / goals against: 16 LLDWLLLDD 2018/19 3rd / goals for: 11 / goals against: 06 WDDWWDDDD Home games: DDDWD Away games: WDWD So we have taken 47% of the points at home but 67% away. If you flipped the home/away it'd be a great start, but that away percentage is not sustainable and so what we need to do is win, at home, from 30 October v Dunfermline onwards.
  3. Kids booked on. Should be a fun night!

You are right on that one Dave I have never heard that either but Billy Dodds would never be able to get his lips round that one
  5. Yes and no. Posters of a certain generation gravitated toward Rangers / Celtic. Kids today are more interested in the big European clubs. Fifa 19 is huge. The club could be doing more to make match day an 'experience' than just 90 minutes of football.
  6. The never ending draws are gonna cost us big time need to win this league not often the play of winners go up fixed for the prem side to stay up!

Why is that so ridiculous? If Oakley is fit to start next week I'd have no issue with him playing and White on the bench.

I don't see what all this ofw crap has to do with Daniel
  9. I'm not against Summer Football, I'm just not a fan of going "oh, look what they are doing, if it worked for them it should work for us". If Scottish Football really wants to know what will work here...ask the people here...create a case for things based on meaningful, relevant data. It's checking over the fence to see what the neighbours have that landed us with league splits and project brave and the attitude that it's the supporters and clubs who must be screwed up because these things worked elsewhere.

Don't really get the clamour for starting Mackay. He's not shown much in his recent (substitute) appearances to suggest he should be in the first XI. He's still young and most of his game time has been from the bench so it's unfair to expect him to be scoring dozens of goals but at the same time he's not shown all that much.
  11. Ah, the good old days of Wyness and Ritchie in their pomp - they were a formidable pairing but the likes of a potent striking duo like that don't come around too often unfortunately.

Pretty sure he started in the U18s win v Killie less than 24hrs before, scoring 2 goals. Tough shift to travel down to Kilmarnock, play a match, travel back, then after a sleep jump back on a bus to Dundee and start a senior game...
  13. No. Might be favorable for some home fans, but kills any away travel. The idea that by moving to a Fri night will reduce the competition of other activities I think is unlikely as every option whether it be shopping, movies, theater or even kids activities/sports can be equally scheduled on a Fri night as a Sat. What we need is regular Sat 3pm games, with the removal of TV options at any times on a Sat around those games as this provides too much of an alternative option/distraction for football fans affecting footfall. Televised football should be seen as a nice novelty not the norm.

i dont see how you can have a league table if you are not playing all clubs the same number of times and not playing some clubs at all.

Wow>! A Welsh wizard with words. If they are sincere, however, that's a big compliment , as I read it , to ICT . Sp thank you OFW.
