I guess he was getting cheesed off with the 12 or 13 noisy Ayr fans who were making themselves heard above the rustling noises from the home fans.

I agree but that was a minority, albeit a loud and vocal one. The majority of us noticed and appreciated him at the time and regretted his departure in which there is little doubt that the boo boys played a part.

Pity he wasn't fully appreciated by some while here and an easy target for the boo boys when things didn't go to plan. Type of player that gets noticed more once they've gone

Anyone know if Killie still do those Empire Biscuits with the club's badge on top?
  5. I am pleased to see that The Rangers have dealt with the racist abuse directed at Kyogo Furuhashi so swiftly and effectively. Within 48 hours of the footage from the supporter's bus on the way to Dingwall being posted on line the offenders have been identified and banned indefinitely and the supporters club involved barred from receiving tickets for matches in tge future. The Rangers deserve great credit for that. However, it does beg the question of why the equally disgraceful sectarian conduct and anti Irish racism which takes place week in week out on supporters buses and away grounds cannot be dealt with in precisely the same way or indeed called out in the Scottish media in the same way that Saturday's abuse was.
