  1. Not a fan of a document referring to supporters as "customers".

  2. Thanks for posting this. I note the document you have attached is dated October 2020 but the document currently on the Club's website is dated October 2021. I have gone back through the Club's "latest news" postings on its website and neither version was communicated via that communication channel. The charter commits to ensuring supporters are kept informed by (amongst other routes) "Consulting our supporters on a regular basis both through Caley Jags Together (formerly the ICT Supporters Trust) meetings and ongoing direct communication. Supporters who are not members will be consulted through informal activities." I was the Chair of the Supporters Trust during this period and at no time were we informed that a Customer Charter was being prepared, we were not consulted, nor were informed it existed, let alone provided with a copy! Had we been consulted, we would, of course, have pointed out that the ICT Supporters Trust was formerly also known as Caley Jags Together and not the other way round. The CJT name has not been used by the Trust since I have had an involvement with the Trust and certainly not since the current Club Chairman and CEO have been in post. It is quite bizarre that such an error should be made in a document in the first place, let alone in one which has apparently been reviewed. It is, of course, also bizarre that the Club should prepare and review a document which commits to consultation and communication with the Supporters Trust and the wider fan base, and then fail to consult about it or communicate it! Clearly this document is a tick box exercise and does not indicate any intention or willingness to consult or communicate with the supporters in any meaningful way.

  3. I for one am stunned that the Inverness Courier is going down the clickbait route.

  4. Well to be honest the reason that I started this topic - and the reason I have been posting after an absence - is that I was disillusioned and TBH totally cheesed off - by the negativity and IMHO a number of unfairly derisive posters who appeared to be more intent in catastrophising and being overly critical and negative. Shure there was a lot to complain about but I could not understand that the injuries this season were not seen as being a major reason for our poor form. No other team in this league would have dealt with the same situation. It gave me great pleasure to witness the rise in the scoring and the positivity in the last few weeks. And did anyone actually believe that we would take three points from Queens Park ?? Well some eejits are still talking about relegation. I sincerely am sticking at a FIVE - as I truly believe that we have an outside chance of making the play offs given our fixture list - and I intend to go to Morton and to Hamilton (away). We have been away behind before and made up the ground. I dont think that we will get promoted but we have to keep up the momentum for the Cup. And as for the sanctimonious amongst us - I wish I could start a podcast revealing the rumours that I have heard - I evidently cant - BUT wholly agree that the club needs a clear out and a managerial reconstruction. There may be individuals retained which I do not agree with but individuals given more creedence and influence plus financial support from a - lets say previously rumoured source. At the end of the day I am a feckin diehard and my season will be saved by two trips to Hampden and a play off or close to play off place ending. OK the negative may be that I have little confidence in the tactics during the league fixtures and the unbelievable, continuing lack of communication with the fan base.

  5. It has been clear for some time that the apparent pledge in the statement issued on behalf of the Chairman on March 1st to hold this statutory gathering on March 28th will not be fulfilled. The requirement to give 21 days’ notice currently means that no gathering can be held before 10th April, even if notice was served tomorrow. Implicit in Para 55 of the company’s Articles of Association is that the deadline for holding this meeting was 21st December of last year, so the extent of the apparent default appears currently to stand at 3 months and 20 days… and counting. As regards the company’s accounts, these were filed with Companies House on the deadline day of 28th February and duly publicised through the media from that source. So far, to my knowledge, the company has made no acknowledgement of its own of their content - not even to the extent of a single figure such as the £835,000 loss. Apart from that, shareholders and supporters have absolutely no information about the club’s financial fortunes in almost 10 months since the end of the period covered by these 31.5.22. accounts - a period during which the Concert Company, touted in earlier accounts as an apparent financial saviour…. collapsed with still unknown implications for the football club, despite (mercifully!) their having been technically separate entities. Now that the accounts have been filed with Companies House and an AGM date informally made public… why has the latter not been adhered to? At least there will be the revenue from the cup run - whenever that arrives - but, although extremely welcome, this is no panacea for a fundamentally loss making business of unclear cash flow status, kept afloat by wealthy well wishers.

  6. We have absolutely no chance of play offs now and I'm not counting my chickens on a 2nd Hampden visit yet And yes I went on Saturday fully thinking we could beat Queens Park...lol

  7. There was nothing to bite at. I was just availing myself of the opportunity to clarify that, although the headline suggested that I was calling for a merger, in the article I actually described one as “inconceivable”.
