  1. I've no clue who you are, but this is a sentiment I've heard echoed from many long time supporters, and a feeling I've had myself over the past few years. Yet I persist, as some other do, often against my better judgement. The one thing that keeps me going is the people I spend time with while I'm at the game, be it family I take or friends I meet there.

  2. Fair do's, it is soul destroying sometimes, but what a buzz when it all comes together!

  3. Citing poor performances and loosing games as a reason for not returning is (in my opinion) what we hear from OF fans. However I do agree that the entertainment is dropping due to our playing style this is directly linked to the quality of players we have which is all finance driven - through through dropping numbers of fans and therefore lower revenues this will continue in a decreasing spiral unfortunately. The biggest issue is that given other forms of similar entertainment for the price point of football, the experience as a fan is poor. This isnt unique to ICTFC but nothing is or has changed for decades - yet unlike history where there wasnt the vast spread of leisure activities on offer clubs could be complacent , relying on loyalty - this is no longer the case. Its a whole new off topic thread and discussion but attending football is a habit not pleasure.

  5. Probably as I have just lost interest to an extent. Partly down to me as the product / entertainment on offer is poor. Partly down to not liking the way the club is run. To summarise, ICT is not as appealing to me anymore for various reasons.

  6. Hi CT. might as well go off on a tangent here. Don't you think GT has had the most naturally talented back line a Scottish manager has ever had, and yet achieved nothing. Surely therefore it highlights poor coaching. The Scottish forwards woeful attempts at powering over from a yard has been their downfall for years and years. Their lack of guile and craft is shown up every match. Its all in the coaching. Whether it's the head coach, or the forwards coach, or the attacking coach, or all of them. So, to conclude on a Caley Thistle note, maybe Scott Kellacher is actually our problem, he has always been there.

  7. I’m not going to manage to clarify all of that, but I think (and apologies if I have got this wrong) the club owns (or will if the scheme is given the go ahead) the land that the development is on. If it is approved, the club then sells the land for the seven figure windfall and has no further role. Effectively Messrs Cameron and Sutherland have gifted ground to the club (or it’s subsidiary) to make this possible.

  8. Who was on the Panel, the chairman of our planning applications committee?

  9. Ferguson doesn't strike me as the type of manager who'd put up with a coach that wasn't doing what was expected of him.

  10. Possibly, but they need to start the process without undue delay as it could take months to identify who might be preparedto break the news to him

  11. The club can confirm that we have lost our appeal against the red card we believe was incorrectly given against Max Anderson on Saturday. Having repeatedly reviewed the footage and clearly seeing that there was no contact with the Partick Thistle player who needed no treatment at all for the reported “studs to the face”, we are disappointed by this Fast Track Panel decision but not surprised. The two-game ban we were appealing against will now be served by Max. While Max won’t be on the pitch on Saturday, we hope as many Caley Jags as can make it, will be there to support Duncan and the team.

  12. I heard that if the battery project is refused then ICT will only have enough money for 12 weeks and then will be bust.

  13. Still to see Anderson do anything of value in an ICT shirt. MacGregor in for him now he's banned hopefully.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”

    • Kelty Hearts Training Statement
What a farce we have become, a laughing stock: Did you hear the one about the footbal team from the Highlands of Scotland that want to train at Cowdenbeath? Unfortunately, unlike our board, this is not a joke. Our board are trying to rip our identity from the Highlands and replace it with shared training at Kelty Hearts. I kid you not, this is not a drill and the clowns that run our club appear to be delighted at this coup.

    • Relegation Statement
RELEGATION STATEMENT: This could have been said ten minutes after our defeat to Hamilton three days ago. So far, this is not the news that we on Caley Thistle Online wanted to hear. Pleased that we will still function as a club, disappointed that resignations have not been offered yet. Keeping fans waiting in silence for three days is unforgivable and relationships are drifting further apart than ever before. Silence is not the way forward, we deserve better as fans.

    • Inverness CT 2-3 (3-5) Hamilton - Play off final (relegation)
RELEGATED: Despite Inverness needing to get off the mark quickly, it was Accies that killed the tie inside the first fifteen minutes with strikes from Kevin O'Hara and Lewis Smith. Cammy Kerr reduced the leeway with a good strike from distance, but O'Hara struck again with a penalty before the break to diffuse the revival. We struggled to create anything of note and this reporter could not stomach any more and left the stadium. I'm told Alex Samuel pulled a goal back in stoppage time, but like the rest of the season it was too little too late.
