  1. Comfy win -we can only play who we are up against. Strong in all departments. I appreciate he might not be brilliant but some of the abuse aimed at young Ferguson - before he even set foot on the pitch was over the top. He is a young person, who will have feelings too, trying his best and right now he plays for us -encouragement works better than putting someone down .With his few touches he mainly found his man but still got terrible abuse. Id like to see them saying these things to his dad!!

  2. And me. Shameful behaviour. We have to remember that so many of the team are young lads, often far from home, and be mindful of everyone's mental health when passing opinions.

  3. Totally agree. Would these folk like this happening to their young son? Not his fault who his dad is. It's a bit out of hand

  4. It's different, modern and clever IMV, but we all have our own opinions that are valid I actually like it so much, that I can see me getting it as a tattoo! [there you go, confirms I am cheap and tacky!]

  5. Cameron Ferguson is only 21 and is still learning his trade. People who are not happy with Duncan Ferguson should know better than to take it out on his son. All our young players need encouragement. It will affect their confidence if they are getting verbal abuse from fans, even if it is only a small minority who are thoughtlessly doing it. Those involved should know better and use their energy in a positive way. We won the game 3-0 which makes their reported actions yesterday even more moronic.

  6. With the team wearing it yesterday for the cup game it looks good and there was a lot of supporters wearing it as well which was great to see.

  7. There are very few times I use the word 'hate' as I find it too extreme an emotion in most cases. I would rather dislike, distrust, or have other negative feelings towards a person, place or entity. However, this person falls into the category of people I absolutely hate without reservation or chance of redemption. And all of this despite never actually meeting the person. I cannot even put into words what I think as it would surely put me into danger of being sued for defamation or libel. Suffice to say I have heard most of the stories out of the stadium or out in public that reference his style, or how he dealt with situations, or people. Some of these things sounded pretty shady and I really hope that AS has had the opportunity to discover them and see if any of these can be used to "deal with it" as he noted in the article.

  8. Please allow me to be the first to note the coincidence of the absence of Big Dunc and a 3-0 win Joking aside, did the team play any differently?

  9. Thought I would put this up as it’s 60 years this week.My old man worked on the FRB construction even if it was just the toll booths, and I was at the opening with a girl in my primary class as we were allowed to choose two from each year. But my main thought was for @IBM when I saw the cars Also, I managed to visit Myreton today and I got a load of pics. I have to say @snorbens_caleyman that they had a Topolino but I wasn’t interested enough to snap it…
