In the words of Easter Ross oligarch Uncle Roy they're a "local community club" who somehow managed to start 11 non-Scots in the first game at Almondvale and upped the "local" content by starting the utter galoot Jordan White at home. Based on their lamentable second half performance last night there's no guarantee they'll bounce straight back-up. Please God give us an away game in Dingwall in one of the cups next season and 4 league games in season 2026-2027.
  2. You don’t need AI Don, artist George Stubbs predicted this result way back in 1770. Although I’m not actually sure if that is a lion or Rod Stewart!

Feel a bit sorry for Alex Samuel. Gave it all for us last season - relegated! Gave it all for County this season (when he got a chance) - relegated! Would we take him back? I would!
  4. They have lost the fight after 3 relegation battles and deserve to go down based on results. If I remember right on the last vote to expand the Premier league Ross County voted against it, They might regret that vote (if I am right). Although I hope we can get promoted next season although a long shot, but we can do it , we might get our local derbies back! The winner tonight was the central belt who will not have to travel up the A9 next season, a sad day for north football .
  5. Getting pumped by Livvy 4 -2 with minutes to go! i can't say i'm shocked as they have avoided the drop on a few recent occasions! Cowie will keep his job or will sugar daddy Roy decide to get someone new? one thing for sure there will be an exodus of mercenaries heading over the bridge!

  7. Many of the most memorable games in our club's history have been in the later stages of the various cup competitions. To be in the later stages of a cup, you need to win in the earlier stages. I therefore like to support the team in the early rounds. The challenge cup is also a great opportunity to get an early look at new players and how the team is shaping up.
  8. Absolutely delighted. Livi were by far the better side in both legs and went through pretty comfortably despite gifting County a 2 goal head start tonight. Hale looked a good player throughout but other than him County had no fight and their team of mercenaries easily fell apart. It was a joy to watch.
  9. That's the original AI.....Artist's Impression. And well done for scoring the last goal.... L. Smith (39') D. Wilson (57') R. Muirhead (61') I. Yngwie (90'+6)

Me too, any player with his work ethic I would like to see here. All he needs is some goals

The League Cup draw is tomorrow.
  13. That's fine...but it has nothing to do with the tournament format.

To modify a phrase that was popular here many years ago, as we rose through the divisions, "it shows how far we've gone", when the best we can do is take delight in County's downfall. Still, take delight I shall! 😂
  15. Congratulations to Livingston. Regardless of opposition tonight, they have done really well this season. County will be a strong addition to the Championship next season. They will inevitably want to bounce back but it will be quite brutal with St Johnstone there too. Ross County do in fact deserve to go down. It is another sad day for Highland football. Alex Samuel has had two years of this. It will be interesting to see if Derek Adams is brought back to lead the charge........

  17. I can't imagine there are many fans desperate for more games in the Challenge Cup. Against B teams. In the middle of the week.
  18. Oh great, more early round Challenge cup games, it's just what everyone has been crying out for!

On the downside, they are in a very strong position to attract championship quality players...who hasn't accepted our contract offers yet?
