Many of the most memorable games in our club's history have been in the later stages of the various cup competitions. To be in the later stages of a cup, you need to win in the earlier stages. I therefore like to support the team in the early rounds. The challenge cup is also a great opportunity to get an early look at new players and how the team is shaping up.

Absolutely delighted. Livi were by far the better side in both legs and went through pretty comfortably despite gifting County a 2 goal head start tonight. Hale looked a good player throughout but other than him County had no fight and their team of mercenaries easily fell apart. It was a joy to watch.

Congratulations to Livingston. Regardless of opposition tonight, they have done really well this season. County will be a strong addition to the Championship next season. They will inevitably want to bounce back but it will be quite brutal with St Johnstone there too. Ross County do in fact deserve to go down. It is another sad day for Highland football. Alex Samuel has had two years of this. It will be interesting to see if Derek Adams is brought back to lead the charge........
