  1. Stormin' up the table now. If it wasn't for the 5 point deduction we'd be just one place below Ross County! 😂
  2. Fans need to help clubs in stamping this out by not turning a blind eye to it and/or protecting the identity of those responsible. If you know who or how they're getting these things into the ground and you're not speaking up you can't then moan about being searched at the turnstiles.
  3. Our first game of the season and a very enjoyable afternoon out. Thought we had the better of the first half and some nice play towards the end of the game - felt like our players just needed to shoot, there was lots of nice play around the box without troubling their goalie too much. However (puts hard hat on) I enjoyed the singing from the young team and goodness knows in my past and even today I sang along ...BUT... Roy McGregor is a p***o and Goodbye you c**ts? In a week where one of our fans has already been banned for doing pyros in the ground we don't want our fans all being tarred with the same brush and to me that was just unnecessary. As an aside the Zimba and Sole songs are very catchy and clever, so well done to whoever created them.
  4. Big Dunc....and his boy.😁
  5. To take yer mind off the singing, here's some footie for ya>>>
  6. Great win for the team today, Well done
  7. Not sure I understand the question, and I don’t claim to have the answers to the problem, other than trying to educate those fans who may pose a risk and, sadly, taking action against those who choose to flout the rules. I know that’s not as easy as it sounds though. I want atmosphere at games, but not behaviour that risks fans’ safety or can cause damage, and bring financial penalties on the club. The club clearly wants the support of younger fans, with the plan mentioned at the Fans Meeting for a singing and standing area in the West Stand.
  8. As a different example of ignorance, I used to get upset whenever I saw something saying that County was the "most northerly" SPFL club. I corrected The Guardian more than once, and pointed it out to other sources as well. I even set the question "which is the most northerly SPFL club" in a quiz that I was setting years ago, and was impressed that 20 out of 27 entries had the correct answer. One entrant pointed out that at that time County's own website made the claim. Easy to see why you'd think of County - you have to travel northwards from Sneck. But in fact the correct answer is Elgin City, whose ground I calculated to be about 4 miles further north than County's. Have a look at a map if you don't believe me.
  9. What’s the best bit of Norn Iron? County Down. Boom boom!
  10. Agreed, our songbook should be aligned to ‘its bridge is wonderful’ carols.😃
