  1. Well done Mr F, Manager of the month should go to Lennon, as he managed to get a draw against ICT, that is pretty impressive, no one else has managed that.

  6. Time to show our strength in depth! Esson Cooper, Devine, Gorman, Tremarco Williams, Polworth, Christie, Watkins Toby, Allen ...or we could go unchanged.

  7. Anyone remember Kerrea Gilbert? Defender who got offered a deal then promptly took off down South on another trial. He has subsequently disappeared into obscurity. Sorry but had to have my say on Mackay-Steven, the last time this subject was mentioned it sparked a mass topic on here, i hope this dosent happen again, past needs be left as the past. We would have signed him but he was facing a lengthy spell out and understandably the club didnt want to invest money in someone who wasnt going to play. He didnt join when he was offered a pay as you play terms (an understandable offer at the time given his past injury problems). We havent fallen apart without him signing and i dont think we are going to...

  10. Quite surprised that he chose not to score. Hopefully he is saving the goals for Saturday.

  11. Ach, I'm going to bite. I know I shouldn't but anyway what reason is there to think that we won't win this League? We've yet to play anyone who has posed us major difficulty, never mind looking like beating us. The transfer window isn't the best, but what it has done is fix the squads of our opponents (as it has ours) and there's nothing frightening there. It also gives us the knowledge they won't improve before Christmas. Even Celtic haven't strengthened to the degree that they wanted to, and that's why they didn't win the League by 18 points last year and they won't this year. On the other hand, our squad has improved to the extent of us having strength in depth all over the field - remember it's only really Brill and Vincent who have come in, and those now on the bench are far stronger than last year. Build up maximum points between now and Christmas and build up a buffer to negate late season buying by others/ injuries etc. That gives us an unmatchable opportunity to improve on our placing of last year, and if you're going to do that by 1 place, why not do it by 2 or 3? That's not being wired to the moon, it's being informedly optimistic and there's nowt wrong with that!

  12. Especially since he's been playing in the fifth tier of English football! What an achievement for him (if he does get picked). Billy McKay almost scored last night for NI but it would be great if ICT had 2 different players playing at international level!

  13. Billy came on as a sub on the hour mark tonight for Northern Ireland. Well done, Billy. Great news.

  14. I had more fun last weekend watching ICT than I did listening on the way back home tonight to the dross that Enger land dished up tonight. And that's from a proud Englishman who wears his country's flag as a tattoo on his arm! Many thanks to all you said hello around the ground and within.. even the Hearts fans were pleasant before and after. And thanks to Davie for coming and finding us to say hello, and thanks to IHE for shouting out to us and calling out to Sue! Shame you weren't wearing a kilt! I shall still use this forum as a new long distance fan.. I cant wait to come again and see your brilliant Boys In Blue!

    • Kelty Hearts Training Statement
What a farce we have become, a laughing stock: Did you hear the one about the footbal team from the Highlands of Scotland that want to train at Cowdenbeath? Unfortunately, unlike our board, this is not a joke. Our board are trying to rip our identity from the Highlands and replace it with shared training at Kelty Hearts. I kid you not, this is not a drill and the clowns that run our club appear to be delighted at this coup.

    • Relegation Statement
RELEGATION STATEMENT: This could have been said ten minutes after our defeat to Hamilton three days ago. So far, this is not the news that we on Caley Thistle Online wanted to hear. Pleased that we will still function as a club, disappointed that resignations have not been offered yet. Keeping fans waiting in silence for three days is unforgivable and relationships are drifting further apart than ever before. Silence is not the way forward, we deserve better as fans.

    • Inverness CT 2-3 (3-5) Hamilton - Play off final (relegation)
RELEGATED: Despite Inverness needing to get off the mark quickly, it was Accies that killed the tie inside the first fifteen minutes with strikes from Kevin O'Hara and Lewis Smith. Cammy Kerr reduced the leeway with a good strike from distance, but O'Hara struck again with a penalty before the break to diffuse the revival. We struggled to create anything of note and this reporter could not stomach any more and left the stadium. I'm told Alex Samuel pulled a goal back in stoppage time, but like the rest of the season it was too little too late.

    • Hamilton 2-1 Inverness CT - Play off final 1st Leg
A better showing from Inverness in the second half, especially with Lawal and Pepple on the park but it's Hamilton that take a one goal advantage up the A9 on Saturday. Lawal has been the standout performer in our last few games and surely he must start on Saturday. Pepple also did well, scored the goal, had an effort saved and got in a few balls across the box from tight positions.

Still, a shocker of a first half and we must be up for it from the start on Saturday.
