  1. Highlight of the game was Mason Hancock getting booed after he was announced as Matt Hancock.

  3. I think we had so many chances to kill the game and never took them because we tried to pass or walk the ball into the net.Why not try some shooting on site that's what they practice before the game, although some of that shooting leaves a lot to desired.I just feel that a the dropped points will come back and bite us again. Why could we not have started the game as we did the start of second half.

  4. We lack any creativity or cutting edge in the final third of the game. Even if we do create anything we don't look like anyone will finish the chances. I feel sorry for Billy Mckay. He works so hard but he must get so frustrated by the long high balls that get punted his way. Oakley looks a much poorer player than his previous spell and Doran seems to want to turn back rather than take on his opponent. Arbroath were so bad yesterday in my view which makes it more frustrating we didn't win the game.

  5. Indeed. Our main problem since Billy Mckay left for the first time, in early 2015, has been that we have not had a reliable, consistent goalscorer. And that includes the twice that Billy has been back. Yes, I know that players who fit that description are few and far between, but it should be a priority. And, having seen a lot of streamed games during the last two seasons, I know that I've said a few times that basic shooting practice is badly required.

  6. I said to my son yesterday that there wouldn't be a lot of goals in the game, as we struggle to score one, and if Arbroath scores first, we would be lucky to get a goal back, but I could never see us scoring two. Far too many times, we seem to want too much time to get a shot off, it should be shoot on sight, but going by the pre-match shooting that they do, their shooting at goal is one thing that needs a lot of work.

  7. Unlucky not to score. How often can this be the case? Stop wasting chance after chance , we don't have our strongest team on the park - true, we don't get our tactics right for our opponents - somewhat true. But we have had enough chances in the last two games to win plenty of matches. Its becoming obvious to the rest of the league that we are perhaps good for one goal a game - score more than that and we are beatable. Maybe we need to employ a goalscoring consultant now.

  8. Nathan Shaw was by far our best option going forward. Cannot believe we are still playing one of our most physical central midfield players at right back and our left back in central midfield. Absolutely criminal we never replaced Rooney and that is one f**ck up Dodds cant dodge.

  9. Tbh there wasn't much wrong with that team. I think the system was at fault

  10. FT ICTWFC 3-2 Dryburgh FT 18s Grampian 1-2 ICTWFC This result means that our U’18s are the new League Champions Always a competitive matchup when these sides meet and today was no different! Both sides hitting the crossbar multiple times and creating many chances throughout the match. Orla Evans put ICT 1-0 up in the first half with a well worked move and calm finish. Right on the 90th minute, Rhiannon Ebrihem scored from range to secure the victory! ICTWFC 4-0 Turriff U16s FT 14s Highland- Nairn 3-5 ICTWFC Scorers were Leah, Oona, Kelsey and Cailyn x 2

  12. It was a better display than the Morton fiasco, but that wouldn't be hard. Dodds again plays the wrong system, he is a clueless tactician. He went with Mckay and Oakley up front again! That obviously didn't work against Morton, so why persist with it? Mckay works his socks off, as he does constantly, and was unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions, but I just don't think Oakley gives us enough to justify his place in the eleven. What we needed was more in midfield, and I was surprised to see Boyd dropped to the bench, as he looked quite bright against Morton. We played our best football when we got the ball down and passed it at pace, our goal came from such a move, but too many times we reverted to Hoofball, and you could see Mckay's frustration when the CB kept beating him in the air. Carson did slip up for their goal, but I still think Dodds is at fault for this, he has never replaced Rooney, and that's a few seasons now. Carson is a combative box to box midfielder, who was put in at RB when we had no cover there, and because he played quite well, Dodds seems to think that we don't need to look for a RB now! With Allardice out, the midfield needs to be strong and flexible, and we do miss Carson playing on his actual position, it must be frustrating for him. Shaw was my MOTM, his best game for ICT, I thought Delaney again stood out, and Welsh gives us that cool head in the middle of the park. I have said on many occasions that Dodds was the easy choice for the club, just as Robbo was. The criteria for the managers job seems to be, are you a coach? Do you live locally? You're hired. So, are there any other coaches about who live in the area? And does anyone know when Dodds contract runs to?

  16. Absolutely awful football and fed up of the excuses BD will come out with. Coaching between the 3 of them has a lot to be desired these days and so very hard to watch . Another wasted season it looks like unless the club act NOW and not waste any more time.in getting shot of them . He clearly is upsetting his own players and things will get far worse no doubt . It’s a lot of his players playing week in and week out and his tactics which clearly are not working ! BD is Very Very lucky to have kept his job after last years mid season shambles and scraping playoffs really kept him in office . For me last year he had to go. Now he really has to go and fast! Show some ambition and balls chairman.

    • Inverness CT -V- Morton - Preview
Well, where do you start. It was clear from the begining of the season that something was wrong. Poor signings, dismal performances in the League Cup followed by an abysmal start to the League campaign saw Billy Dodds removed from his position after winning one point in the first six Championship fixtures and replaced by a man with no track record as a manager. A sort of publicity stunt if you like. After the initial new manager bounce wore off, we found ourselves little better off with Big Dunc than we were with wee Billy. We did claw ourselves up to the coat tails of others but the most damning part of our season has been our inability to score goals, especially at home. Only already relegated Arbroath are worse than us. Our team is now full of mercenaries, loan players with no affiliation to our Highland pedigree and many fans have tagged us as being the worst squad ever in our short history. Where are the Golabeck's, Tokeley's, Wilson's..... Much of this can be attributed to our lack of financial nous in the boardroom, failed ventures and now the begging bowls are being put in place to save our club. Having drawn at Dunfermline last week thanks to Aribim Pepple's first goal for the club combined with Billy Mckay's penalty miss, it's now out of our own hands. LAST SIX: D L  W W L  D

    • Dunfermline 1-1 Inverness CT - Report
Out of our hands now: It ended in disappointment for the 319 visiting fans with news that Queens Park had hammered Arbroath 0-5. To rub salt into the wounds, Sheridan and Welsh were amongst the scorers. It's out of our hands now, but it's a must win next Friday and hope Queens Park falter.  Inverness play Morton and Queens play Airdrie. A draw might be enough, but it's a long shot.

I'm not convinced that Billy Mckay was the right man to be taking that penalty, his second failure from the spot in successive games against the Pars.

    • Dunfermline Ath -V- Inverness CT - Preview
Aaron Doran looks likely to have pulled on the Caley Jags strip for the last time after limping off against Raith Rovers last Friday. Sean McAllister returning was a bonus though but the mystery deepens as to why Roddy MacGregor, Austin Samuels and Nikola Ujdur are not featuring either on the injury list or the team list. Baffling to be honest as Roddy has the midfield attributes required, Austin has the speed and potential and Nikola in my opinion, if fit, would be my first choice on the team sheet. Are these guys on the way out? Add to that seven or eight loan players, then next season will see a massive restructure and rebuild at the Caledonian Stadium. I imagine the board members are squirming in their seats like Angela van den Bogerd at a Post Office inquiry.

    • Inverness CT 0-1 Raith Rovers - Report
Inverness threatened the Raith goal and but for Kevin Dabrowski and his bar they could have been dead and buried at the interval. No score at the break and all to play for in the second half. Vaughan opened the scoring early in the second half and Samuel almost levelled but his shot from distance cannoned away off the post. The crossbar was hit a further twice but the goal would not come. Despite peppering the Raith goal, MotM Dabrowski would not be beaten with a string of saves ranging from brilliant to miraculous.

    • Inverness CT -V- Raith Rovers - Preview
The great escape coninues on Friday night at the Caledonian Stadium as we host Raith Rovers in a game that will also be screened live on BBC Scotland with Raith trying to cling on to the coat tails of Dundee United and the Caley Jags looking to slither away from the play-off zone. What could possibly go wrong? Savage and Carragher will be joined in the squad by a welcome returnee in Sean McAllister who has returned fit from Everton after about six weeks out. That's a nice wee bonus for Big Dunc. However, he has the wrath from Arbroath after his "tools down" comment in his pre-match interview. As long as he has not got the wrath from Raith. Keep the faith!
