I think he must have been concussed when he played :015: My reply would have been fairly brief: County knew early on ICT could get ahead in the league system, so they threw money at the problem for about 5 years in a vain attempt to be established as the leading club. Now they've had to face reality. Div 1/2 yo-yo club.

Must admit to being a little peeved when I opened my Herald this morning. Now I'll be the first to admit it was a game to forget, and it was really Hibs' day with the new manager, but just see how many mentions of us you can count in this report. EDIT: I decided to email them with this: As an ICT fan, I'm well aware that Saturday's game at Easter Road was one to forget. However, if it weren't for the scoreline at the top of the article, a casual reader of James Porteous' report could be forgiven for asking just who Hibs opponents were on the day. I counted six references to the away team in the report, as follows: 'attacked Inverness', 'Ross Tokely', 'Inverness were still in the game', 'Phil McGuire', 'visiting defenders', 'McGuire'. Surely some kind of record?

Aye we hardly turned up today. If we hadn't been playing well recently I'd be worried. As it is I'm just gutted we're out the cup. Mind you apart from beating Hearts our away form has been pretty shoddy, when did we last even score a goal? We caught an improving Hibs side at the wrong time but even at that they never had to work too hard. Hibs looked there for the taking a lot of the game but feck knows what Brew was playing at. Maybe plan A was to sit in and steal a replay. Well that lasted for 5 minutes but there seemed to be feck all plan B. Apart from chase the game and let Hibs pick us off on the break like they were in Europe. I'm not happy paying 21 quid to watch the ball lumped up to Bayne and come down with snow on it. If anybody was watching Blackie today he was a class apart, notwithstanding his usual booking. If they come in for him this month that's another big hole we have to fill. I thought Marius had a decent first half but then started trying to do it all himself. Rossco possibly at fault for the first goal but I still thought he was immense most of the second half at least in getting forward, often having 2 men on him. The rest looked all too predictable and devoid of ideas. Royston, Cowie and, yes, Russeldinho kept giving the ball away under no pressure. Maybe they were just surprised to get the ball at all- after all Brew seemed to be playing without a midfield today. Denzil was lightweight and easily controlled but I would still have started him and given him a run. No point coming on in a beaten team. Deano looked ludicrous coming on at 3-0 down and jumping with Rob Jones who must be about seven feet taller. BTW Jones would solve a lot of our problems, far better than The Machine if you ask me. And don't even get me started on McGuire. And..... where the feck was Barry?

Agree with the last two posts. Rankin might have made a difference today and where was Barry?

Must admit nobody around us saw what happened. However Morais had his red coming all day- Hibs had some decent players but I didn't rate him at all.
