  1. I take it you don't mean the wee fat chap with the medical case?
  2. The bus us always late because it is a free one, and a gesture from the company, so any old sh1te will do. It is used as a punishment by the company..."you have been a naughty bus driver, through the week, so you are doing the Caley run!"
  3. We were already on the ascendency when the goal went in, the rest of the half was shuffling about and in the second half we had significantly more posession and territory. Therefore Yogi=Poophead. Good call above about sacking the manager, another benefit from todays defeat is that Yogi will be there to the end of the season. I will miss the day out, but feel much better about stayingup.
  4. never new he was hurt Hurt? Of course he was hurt,...didnt write, didn't phone.... Sorry, couldn't resist.
  5. Stupid and worse, very badly done. I have seen people walk for better. If he is going to do it do it well, otherwise dont bother. Other than that, I thought he, like most of the others had a great game.
  6. Very exciting game today, unfortunately for most of the wrong reasons - trying to come back from behind. Lionel was a silly boy, and deserved what he got. He will be back because he has been MOM in three of the last 4 games, and is just what we need. He started getting wound up and got caught out of position a few times, around the time that he got nobbled. Needs to learn to screw the nut. wtf did Russel think he was doing? He saw the guy coming at him and thought oh yes, I'll have that. He was going to do his dying swan, no matter what happened. Utterly stupid collapse for the barest contact. Yellow for simulation. I am getting a bit fed p of Imrie now, lack of control, poor shooting. I knew he was going to sky that shot as soon as he saw it, before he did. I fear that Ody gives nothing, though very impressed with Foran, gives a lot. Other than that, FK very poor. If we cant get more points than them this season we deserve relegated.
  7. I wouldnt say their a poor team id say their absolute sh**e. They did nothing but push and shove caley players all over the park and head butt them as well. A very dirty team. Aye well lets hope we get a fairer ref next time we meet those cheating scumbags The best thing we can say about today, is that we can hopefully gub them when playing with 11 players. They didnt get a look in in the 2nd half.
  8. Be at the bus station at 2.10. Away fans are not allowed to take the bus, so scarves in pockets, hide the accent and speak like Tich McCoey, if they know what's good for them. Some drivers turn a blind eye, some don't, but behave if they are let on.
  9. Veh good, celebrating an infrequent occurance, but it was not, in this case, a "soft" penalty. I think Weir thought he would get away with it, because of "The Rules". A Brave Man, I salute Mr Murray, and his good Heelan name.
  10. Aye, great when the big teams are about. I've seen him a lot quieter at several of the home games, even under terrynjune, but still a first name on the sheet. He will be missed ginormously.
  11. Motivation by terror. I often wonder what is said in the half-time dressing rooms. I would love to have heard Brew at half-time. "ye've really got tae, eh, play better, eh, aye, much better. Now who wants, eh, substituted?"
  12. Spot on Stan - I drift back to his display at Clyde in the Championship winning penultimte game. He has suffered by walking in Rosscoe's shadow and he may well have had a run last season if it hadnt been for injury and very untimely suspensions. He is another stop gap in midfield who has taken the opportunity to impress. I reckon that he may be the first choice right back next season. And playing him in central defence is yet another clear feckin farce we suffered under Brewster and the muppets. He was dynamic enough against Hibs to put the ball in the net, and again against Rangers to win the penalty! He came tearing in for that half-chance when Weir misheeded. He left the old-timer no choice.
  13. Late penalty at Ibrox AGAINST Rangers? Who's the ref? They obviously hadn't read the script. Memorable result. Tip my hat to the management and the team. Great work!
  14. I would agree with that. I really dont think we were that bad, but decided to withhold my customary GFS MOM Bottle of 20 year old Malt. Agree on Proctor, well worthy of his current starts. Like someone said, like he has been released from an evil spell. Long may Bambi run!
  15. Phil McGuire - Seemed to be Brew's favourite defender last season. Don't know why as he was always hideous. Russell Duncan - Don't know what the fuss is about him at all. Passing's garbage and so's just about everything else. Grant Munro - Some players seem to have a purpose in the team. Whether it be defending or attacking, or both. Don't what was his purpose is though, other being captain. And a pretty poor one might I add. Going out on a limb here, but I think Roscoe had one of his better games on Saturday. Hard working going forward, and not to blame for either of the goals. Both of which, btw, though errors, were taken very well, the kind of deadliness ICT lacked.
  16. since imrie has being playin up front i havnt seen him work so hard ever!!!!! Imrie worked very hard as did Ody, but got very little change in the first half. Long balls from teh defence were meat and drink to the Well defence. Same old same old. I put it to you that our two strikers are too similar to do anything. Imrie does not seen to trap high balls rather waiting until the bounce and hoping to get something out of the second touch. They lack flair. It was only when Morais came on, though he looked slow, he looked like he could do something when up to the pace. I will watch and wait. If Munro is sloppy, it may be because he has never, thats never had to fight for his place. We were under the cosh in the first half, and other then the two mistakes could well have taken something from the game, as we were NOT out played. In the second we ran the show, but could to little to convert our posession and territory to goals. One of those days. When they scored first they immediately took a man back into defence, when they scored the second they took of a striker and brought of a defender. We were playing to an 8 man defence at the end. No chance. I will be interested to see what terrynjune says/does for the Hungame. Little to lose and the chance to take a few chances. Not the end of the world.
  17. Not to mention the Midden....... rather see Falkirk stay up than them. I too would rather Falkirk stayed up. They had a hard enough time getting here, what with the SPL farting them about. Every reason to be aggrieved. I think Killie or Smirren should take a shot.
  18. Good call, but I still think the Old ICT would have lost to them on Saturday. So maybe that counts for the disparity of league position. Either way, it is with confidence that I say that our league position does not reflect our current ability, many will be surprised at the improvement.
  19. I hear that Liverpool have asked ICT for permission to speak to Terrynjune. I wonder how long it will be before we start getting these for real?
  20. Imrie is a star. Just after the massive ****-up of a free kick that we are all laughing about, he ran the length of the field to help Tokely and Proctor, jammed up in the corner. He won his tackle, and his intervention was the one that freed the ball to go to space. His attitude is second to none. Once he transfers this into technical ability he will achieve legend status.
  21. You made my heart race with that comment Gordy. Cheers mun! That's the cheap fast, Ronnie. It is great to feel optimistic again.
  22. Haha neither actually made the by-linel, both went to touch. Thanks goodness they didint matter. Very poor Hibs side, full of roughhouse, lacking any flair. We won by hard work, Imrie particularly put mislef about, but acheived very little, other than distraction. The ref very guilty of not protecting him, he spent more time on his arse than on his feet. Loinel again a justified MOM, saw a lot of him going forward today too, very tricky with the ball at his feet. Kinda like a black Tokely. Proctor too did a lot of good work, and Esson very safe, though I am not sure whether he had to make a save in anger. NOt a pretty game, but when the second goal went in, the team seemed to grow a foot higher. Lovely stuff. The best of it is that, forget all this bollox talk about the Butcher Bounce, when TerrynJune start actually taking stock of what they have this team will improve, beyond all recognition. I like the rest of this season already!
  23. PR is on the up. Butcher is very soundbite worthy, and media savvy. The backstage work is also coming together with more mailshots, deals and what not. The pound seems to be rallying against the Euro again, but to my mind the rot sent in when we joined Sterling.
  24. Love your sig, btw.
