12 week minimum ban for standing
Correct! One solution may be to make the back 2-3 rows in the stands as seated or standing even as a trial before the season ends? Would that work? In days gone by, the terracing was all standing and enjoyed by all. Next season the area opposite the main stand could be allowed as open terracing as in days of yore, could it not--or is there an enclosure there by any chance? When I watched the Hibees for the 6 years I resided in Edinburgh I was always at the back (the top) of the terracing opposite the stand and had no problems with any other fans there. Often the banter was good to very good. Howeve,r when I once went to Ibrox to see the one and only Rangers V Celtic match I have ever seen live, then I was careful to watch my step as a bottle flying round your head was...er...somewhat scary I must admit.

Hearty congratulations to all in the team! And, of course, John Robertson who has clearly worked very hard to get this far after a poor start. Very gratifying for him indeed. If it all works out according to plan then John will definitely have a bright future with ICT. My heart started to palpate when I finished reading this thread! Goodness Gracious, must be life in the old dog yet? Saturday is massive. Will be fantastic if the stadium is packed to the gunwales. This team deserves it fully. How I wish I could come over the Pond for this one. I mean standing beside IHE is worth the thousands of miles alone. Exciting. YESSSSSS.

Wow, I was on here very early this morning and have returned to base now at 5 p.m.. Feels really good to read such positive and informative postings as above. When I first saw Polworth some years ago I felt he had the fire and desire in him to make it. Apart from the one criticism , above, about him it seems as if he is doing the best he can and has become a very useful,centre-man. Great and good luck to him. I am sure that Robbo will underscore the necessity to not take Dumbarton lightly during our next meeting. Score a few and then they will again be on the back foot. A wounded animal is dangerous so no complacency please. From now on every game must be a play-off game with no sense of cantering to the finish line. This team seems to be really dynamic in it's development now and remember Guys, it's....... "home, James, and don't spare the horses" time Yess!

lan Simpson,, I have been watching the video highlights of the recent games showing on this website and, c'mon, this team is playing quite well. Maybe they are not taking their chances around the goals and/or may have been unlucky on more than one occasion to get the ball as close to the net as they would have liked but some of the other goalies' performances in this league are athletic and highly noteworthy, IMHO.. Not to mention that our team has scored from rather difficult situations, surrounded by the other teams' players and so on. And they have stopped losing matches now it seems . So they need your support, not whining and severe criticism. Anyway, from the highlights I do see ambition and effort in this team and considering what a poor start we made at the beginning of the season, can't you even give them one season to coalesce and develop? Remember that everybody except Pimples make mistakes. So, let's give J R his due. He has taken a lot of newbies in the door, worked them hard and it's obvious that they are all, for the most part, fit as fleas and willing to make the effort until the bitter end. And, boy, would you ever regret your harsh criticisms if they did enter the playoffs and ....holy smokes.... what if they actually won promotion? Sackcloth and ashes time for the criticisers I guess.? Aye!- Inverness CT -V- Falkirk
Jaggernaut's posting above is one of the most intuitive and smart assessment posts of late. This team is gelling very well and obviously enjoy playing with each other. Based on what I have seen in the ongoing videos I am surprised at the overall quality of this team. I really am. Their passing is great, the effort they are putting in is fantastic and the skill level is no mean shakes at all. And what surprises me about these games is that the pace of the game is much higher than formerly and great to watch. As for Jake, now that he seems to be heeding J R's advice and is concentrating on his performance rather than losing his temper and doing his Hamlet act on the park, he is a force to be reckoned with. His ball control and speed are awesome and he can become a very much appreciated member of this team if he really puts his mind to it--and, of course, not doing his future career any harm at all in the process. This end of the season performance(s) is very encouraging and so...onward and upward then. YESSSSSSS.!- The Table for ICT

Caman thinks well with his request that the club become more responsive to the needs to bring in punters. Not a bad idea at all. Even if I think it will never be considered since the Board will not think that it's a good idea and (in their view perhaps) would only start a trend. As for allowing folks in for free. Well, that needs a lot more consideration before saying yes. Nothing is free in this world and even paying a smaller, token, entry fee , is the better idea IMHO. Things that are offered free are not often appreciated to the full, etc.- Inverness CT -V- Dundee Utd

Er! I did say longe , not just long-term, contract. From all accounts he could be the real deal. And if his heart is in the right place as far as residing in Inverness, etc, then he could develop into a very good, reliable future ICT stopper . If so it would also be necessary , as far as John's budget will allow, to reward him as he progresses .......!- Inverness CT -V- Dumbarton

Charlie Bannerman So, you finally admit that really you don't believe in free speech--unless it's coming from you. eh? Correct me if I a wrong, but have you yet said one word of encouragement to this youngish new member up to this point? If the answer to that is, clearly "no", would it not be better to say nothing at all and just spend your time reading the other postings on here? To be honest, taking into account that I don't think he has uttered one word of negativity against either the team or any poster who has accessed this thread yet, why are you so negatively critical of what he says and come across as sneering, or indifferent to his proposals. I'll quit whilst I am ahead.- Inverness CT -V- Dumbarton

We can currently access the videos of the matches that the club provide after the games have been played but what I liked most of all was sitting at home on the days of the home games and tuning in on the computer live in real warmth and comfort and seeing all the action as it happened. All power to your elbow, Blair. Sounds as if you are on the right track. Nothing ventured , nothing gained eh.? - Inverness CT -V- Falkirk
