  1. What an ill informed condescending prick.
  2. Thank goodness Celtic have never had a game called off at their own ground because of, oh I dunno, a wee gust of wind.
  3. Not quite as bad as getting into Nairn on the train from Aberdeen to find the game is off!
  4. I like to sing and chant and do star jumps at a game to keep warm. Easier to do that standing up
  5. Correct. Brazil can play their home games wherever they want. Brazil were the "home" team for the game but because of the state of some of the stadia in their country they take their home games "on the road" until infrastructure issues are sorted out back in Brazil. Neymar is a great player. You'd have to think that one of the big bucks clubs will be looking at him this summer. Shame he has an utterly ridiculous haircut.
  6. That was a fantastic tag team effort from two of Scotlands worst officials - Dougie "Clueless" MacDonald and Alan "Huh? What?" Freeland. It was Freeland who informed MacDonald that Juanjo had headbutted Lennon and, acting on this advice, MacDonald sent him off. Given the decision was rescinded Freeland and MacDonald should have been hauled up before the beaks to explain this farcical decision. Tokelys red card against Falkirk was fully warranted. That was a foul on McMenamin. I remember seeing it on Football First (remember that!?) and it was never a sending off.
  7. Disagree. I thought Brines was mince. He wasn't as bad as others we have had recently but some of his decision making was very questionable.
  8. Pretty routine win for ICT. Motherwell had a lot of the ball without doing too much with it. Great goal from Sutherland which came after a nice move from Inverness who actually passed it (!) before he cut inside his man and lashed it into the roof of the net. Foran netted after a good run and set up by Nick Ross and Alex MacDonald wrapped things up finishing from close range after Foran teed him up following a Munro throw in. Whilst Well had a lot of possession they had very little to show for it but they were finding some space in the wide areas to get balls in for Sutton etc. to attack. Aside from one really intense period towards the end of the first half we weren't in too much danger. They really fizzled out in the second half and their number 22 was gash. Good win ahead of a tough game next week. I thought Sutherland, Ross and Hogg were really good for us today and Foran improved on previous performances. No real poor performers but I think those guys stood out a wee bit more from the rest. Well done lads!
  9. My biggest gripe at the minute, and it drives me insane at times, are the spineless linesmen / assistant referees who seem utterly incapable of making a decision by themselves and instead rely on the referee to make a call before going along with it. The most recent example that I remember was the home game against Saint Johnstone where the ball went out of play off a Saints player and the linesman gave a corner. Upon seeing that the referee had given a goal kick he changed his mind and flagged for a goal kick as well! If these guys aren't brave enough to make their own call and stand by it, especially when they are closest to the incident, then they should piss off and stop wasting our time.

At this moment in time I would say battling for a top six spot is as far as ICT can realistically go unless we somehow come into a bit more money. A good Cup run would also be welcomed. I wouldn't say we are punching above our weight. I think we are an SPL club albeit at the lower end of the table more often than not. That's not to say that we shouldn't be concerned with the current run which is very poor indeed and the continuation of the shocking home form is of particular cause for concern. I think Butcher and Malpas are taking the club as far as the club can go and ultimately as far as they can realistically expect to take it. That doesn't mean I think they should go of course. We're on course to survive after getting back into the SPL and I think that's what we all would have liked at the start of the season. And a few more home wins of course!

Doncaster is so far up the backsides of the Old Filth he can taste Brylcream. Horrible individual.
  12. I think ICTChris summed it up quite well on P & B when he posted "Who would have thought that a team with a strikeforce of Barrowman and Wood would struggle to score goals."
  13. Sky (lol) say Hibs and Killie are after him. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11781_6786278,00.html
  14. If we do have to replace some of the seats can we make sure the replacement parts are the same colour so we don't have another part of that stand looking like Section A with its red and white "I" ?

Yup, it's much the same at Pittodrie. It's much less hassle for the stewards if they just let them do what they want for 90 minutes then get them out of the ground.

Dortmund also have an excellent standing area. I think it might even be the largest football terrace in Europe. *checks Wiki* Yup, seems it is. Have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signal_Iduna_Park. Pretty impressive!
  17. Gus MacPherson turned them down before so I am not sure they would go for him again. Sutton at County would be an interesting one.
  18. Leaves after 9 (nine!) games! What a joke County are.
  19. I thought certain trains on a Saturday coming from the South to Inverness were dry anyway? I've certainly seen loads of folk having alcohol taken off them when they are heading back on that Edinburgh train after six unless you mean all Saturday trains Alex (on a matchday)?
  20. I've not been to any of the Cup games so far this season but I might try and get a ticket for the tie v the OF just to piss Dougal off.
  21. I think Hibs fans would be happy to see pretty much all of their players punted right now!
  22. A rivalry with Aberdeen? What nonsense! Sure we want to beat them like we do every other team but there is nothing even close to a rivalry there. Most Aberdeen fans are great towards ICT aside from the usual football banter.
  23. I think that's a bit harsh Kencar. Mark Brown isn't getting a game just now as Calderwood seems to prefer Graeme "Dropped Ball" Smith and Brown has been Hibs form player in recent games! Some managers just don't fancy some players for whatever reason and Hogg seems to be one of them.
  24. Decent enough player, maybe a bit on the small side for a CB but no complaints from me about this signing.
  25. The Blackpool chairman had said he would refuse any offer by Holloway to resign. Will be interesting to see what happens now.
