ICT V St Mirren : Matchday Thread
I thought Vigurs was fine to be honest. Maybe a bit lightweight at times but not too bad on the whole. Could we claim that football is soon to become an expensive luxury for many with the "credit crunch" kicking in or is that just a fashionable thing to say at the minute?

Billy Dodds Prediction Watch
I think it was Chick Young who made mention that ICT were certain for the drop because they had been in the SPL too long Dodds slagged off the Rangers team when they were papped out of the CL by FC Woodcutters or some team like that saying "several of these players aren't good enough to wear the blue of Rangers and those guys know who they are." When asked to name them he refused saying he wouldn't do so - what a jessie.

Only if he ran past the ICT fans cupping his ear or giving us some kind of "get it up you gesture" would I even contemplate booing him. Then again, I very much doubt Wyness would do that. I think he would perform a very mute celebration if he did do that. Or at least I hope he would. We will win 4 - 0 anyway.

Tickets for Celtic Match
Falkirk had no problem selling their allocation to their mong contingent so I can't see us having any problems. Stick this 5% up your backside!

I would be pretty disgusted if anyone boos him but lets face it - that will happen. I won't be booing him but I certainly won't be cheering him either. I think that if he was to score then he wouldn't celebrate the goal like the people in the Italian league do when scoring against former clubs. Also Tevez and his muted celebration against West Ham a season or two ago.- Klaus Klubfoot - It's True!
Pretty much what I was thinking. I'd be interested to hear what better right backs there are available to us? Alexander is mince. Did he not have injury problems while he was there too?- Should Duff Keep His Place?
A poll has been added to Kencars post Kind of agree - if it ain't broke don't fix it etc. - however to have your best team out you of course need your best players. I think Munro is our best defender and, from the few games I have seen this season already (i.e not Falkirk away and Arbroath in the Cup) I feel McGuire is, potentially, our weakest defender. A real catch 22 for Brewster but I believe secretly he is very happy to have such a selection headache.- CALEY TATTOO
I think it looks awful. So long as you like it though that's the main thing. Who cares what we all think- Martin Canning & Brian Kerr
I'm going to side with those who have seen him play regularly as opposed to using the number of caps he has won as being a marker for whether he is good or not. After all, Kevin Kyle has 8 caps for Scotland!- Team for St. Mirren
You appeared to think that we should include Proctor, Duncan and Munro but then indicated a preference for a team without any of the three of them. Nothing wrong with that of course I just thought it was a bit odd.- Team for St. Mirren
That's my kind of team! :thumb04: What on...- Martin Canning & Brian Kerr
Given both Motherwell and Hibs fans say that Kerr is atrocious I wouldn't be overly chuffed if we made a move. It's a defender we need if we are to make moves in the transfer market.- Home game v Celtic........
I was actually meaning Setanta not ICT if that's what you thought I was getting at- Home game v Celtic........
Had been waiting for them to get their act together over this one.- Smell the hat!
Mods like TM4TJ and Alex MacLeod "cancel out" Kingsmills and myself- Smell the hat!
I don't see why Kingsmills being a Moderator has anything to do with his opinion nor why it should force an opinion upon him simply because he is one.- at the game
At Pittodrie against Hibs I remember Scott Dobie walloping a shot during the half time mess around right into the face of a ball girl who was sitting on top of the advertising hoardings in front of the Merkland. All we saw next was her legs up in the air as she was blasted over the boards and into the seats behind her with a huge scream. Needless to say I don't think she was Dobie's biggest fan after that- v Arbroath
Still catching up with the threads I have missed and saw this belter- missing a bridge and a castle
Coia & Ginja were at Arbroath, first time I've seen them at a game for a couple of years. Not seen them in forever. Couple of points: I think designated seating has had an effect too. People who want to sign find it hard to all get together in the one area to belt out some noise. Safety in numbers and all that - when you start making a noise you know others will follow (that's why the atmosphere is typically better at Away games - Tynecastle/Forthbank last year anyone?) When an area was set aside for people to all get together and make noise it was 1) not overly well thought out and 2) "abused" somewhat by the folk who used it who seemed to think they were immune to instructions from the stewards. Certainly "home" games at Pittodrie were fantastic. Great crowd of fans there backing the team- Annual Accounts Released
Who is the other club?- Sportscene
