For those berating Brewster for the way he left us - how do you feel about Hastings being in the team? Additionally, Brewster got us closer to the top 6 than any other ICT manager. Our style of football has not been significantly better under CC than it was under CB. At the end of the day would you rather go down with tippy tappy football are be pushing for this top 6 spot with football that isn't all that great to watch?

Am I right in saying that Brewster got us closer to the Top 6 than anyone else ever did? Given that's where a lot of our fans seem to think we should be aiming every season I am surprised that he hasn't been given more backing.

Quite amazing we have had 5 managers in 5 years now. That actually points towards a degree of instability in that a lot of the time the players never get a chance to properly "bed down" with the manager before they are off. Continual change is not a good thing and could see us in trouble this season.

Completely agree. There is a reason some players get paid more than others. That's because they are better than you and more valuable. It's the same with every job.

Decent shout but as Arab4Ever points out United play a 5 man midfield so we might sometimes find ourselves heavily out numbered in the middle of the pitch.

Of course it's not like the Happy Clappers on this site said anything like "Told you so" after results against Rangers for example? It goes both ways.

I read on P & B that Joe Miller was rumoured to be a candidate. Although it is a rumour if some of the names turned out to be serious contenders for the job I'd seriously question what the **** ICT are playing at.

Ideally I wouldn't want CB back. Given some of the laughable names mentioned in other threads however he might well be a front runner if the club used our suggestions as a short list.

He couldn't even get Saint Johnstone past a diabolical Gretna team who seemed intent on throwing away the title last season. No he didn't. He got them relegated and looks like he is trying to take them down to SFL2. Sorry but those are just names for the sake of it with people not looking beyond who they are.

Smith is a terrible goalie and (I will admit I was a radio person today) he seemed to be making lots of mistakes. We knew this from previous games against Mirren so I wonder why we didn't try and put more pressure on him? Also, at one point the commentator said "It's a throw into Inverness and....yup! Guess what, it's going to be a long throw from Munro.....AGAIN!" - why do we persist with this when it is clear every man and his dug have clicked to it?

Don't think it's a huge loss. I don't think of Marcus as a first teamer and we have players just as good waiting to step in as back up.
