  1. Have to say she is from Dingwall apparently. Doesnt matter what she said knowledge still would not support them.
  2. OK I suppose it wasnt that bad something to the effect of "theres only one team in the highlands and its not caley its county".but it shows this let the highlands stick together mentality is rubbish.
  3. did anyone just see gail the weather lady on reporting scotland slag off caley? Told you so.
  4. OK nailing my colours firmly to the mast - hope they get humped!
  5. Very glad to hear it! lol
  6. If you go onto their forum there is pics of the team bus leaving tinkville. Shades of Ally Macleod and Scotland leaving for Argentina in 1978. (yeh I know Im old).Agree have never seen a rival team wishing their neighbours good luck before.
  7. I think Don Cowie would have to be the winner. Dont think Don will be bothered about missing out on ?100 of vouchers :D
  8. Watching this topic with interest to see who owns up!
  9. Dont think England are good enough this time but I suppose they could win. As for County well Im not sure how I feel. They definately could win and there is a part of me that says good on them and that I should support the highland team. On the other hand I dont want them in europe ahead of us and it could be that a lot the neutral support would switch to them if they win so would be bad for ict income. oh well what will be will be and as already stated if county win it will not be mentioned every day for ever and ever.
  10. Harrys bar definately for me. Would visit even if not going to footie but in area. Tulloch institute before Alba final was great crack. So many there and met folk hadnt seen in years. Also went into the bar in the stadium at Partick a couple of times last season and had a great laugh esp the game we lost before xnas.
  11. 0-7 at Ayr - probably the best day out ever 4-3 at home to Raith for the great escape factor 0-4 at Raith - the day many started to think what was possible 0-1 at Partick - for going top of the league and the crack was good tie for no 5 between the Alba cup final which was a great day out until about 4.10pm and the 1-0 at home to Dundee on the last game of the season. Worst day out 0-2 at Morton last month when the stewards spoiled a good night out.
  12. That makes it so much clearer then!

  17. I think top 10 would be ok for us next season and then maybe aim even higher but I would not be surprised by anything this team can achieve and would be delighted if we could do even better.
  18. I did try to put them in the gallery in here without success. Will try and put mine in flickr later on for you.
  19. Here are mine. http://www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?i...55&aid=7248
  20. As CB states the courier today is great. Well done them!
  21. I do think in the past we have been guilty of not using youth players and sometimes getting rid too early having spent the time and effort bringing these players through the youth system. However, the current management team seem not to be afraid to use the young players when appropriate but these occasions may be fewer in the spl. i have seen Kyle play a few times. The only time I was nervous for him was in the north cup final when he himself appeared nervous and unsure at times but we still managed to win so he did fine in the end.I would worry about not having an experienced no 2 keeper to Esson (asuming he stays). This is not a reflection on Kyles ability just as Oddquine states we dont know how he would perform if called upon.
  22. Can I just say that the clip so far is great. Thanks to all concerned and dont the Dundee players look cheesed off coming onto the pich waiting to do the guard of honour. Since reading about the clearout maybr now we know why.
  23. That's the very wifey I was talking about. She was sitting in the row in front of her father and his cronies. I think it was half time that she properly kicked off at us and how we were all "a disgrace to the club". Well Jay if she is back next season Im moving my seat. Couldnt put up with that again.
  24. Know what you mean I sit in row J in section e and very rarely have folk behind us in the row behind. I stood up to clap Eric Odiambo going off and could hear the tutting from behind. I dont think this woman had ever been to a match in her life. it was nice to see so many folk there but you wonder how long it'll be before they come back again. its back to the old problem of those who want to shout and sing not being able to sit together. Agree with IHE in all my years of going to matches Ayr was the best. Away days are always so much better fun somehow.
