Parrat and Fox to go out on loan...
IMO the squad isn't likely to stay as large as it currently is, it looks like Parratt and Fox will go out on loan and I expect there will be another couple of players that will be leaving the club in the very near future. We have replaced McBain with Rankin and although McBain is more than capable of doing a job for us next season I can't imagine him getting much first team action now we have paid 65k for a player that almost covers an almost identical role in the team. If IHE gets his way Proctor and Black will be out the door even though I'm not convinced .... but if we are looking to buy anymore players I think realistically we will have sell someone

Don't get me wrong I admire the 110% effort Bayne gives when he comes on to the pitch but sometimes I think he needs to use some composure when he gets the ball and for a targetman he doesn't ever play with his back to goal, he usualy ends up chasing after the ball. He can sometimes be an excellent player to throw on for the last 20 minutes of a game to hassle defenders but I think McCallister can do that and has the advantage of youth so CC can shape him into the type of player he wants. He is more than capable of doing another job for us this season but if we are gonna strengthen a position upfront I expect Bayne would be the player CC will look to replace. I can remember 1 game last season that Wilson played upfront ceratinly not a "run" of games.

You lot have short memories.... Denzil scored 10+ goals last season, how many SPL strikers managed that?? He still has plenty left to offer ICT.... but I think if Bayne is still with us at the start of the season he's gonna have to prove his worth to the team. McCallister is going to have a good season I guarentee it (in an IHE prophecy stylee :016: ) What complete tosh.. Barry is a winger/attacking mid he has only ever played upfront when we have been short of options

I guess that the signing of Campbell confirms that we are giving up on Hoolahan :024:

We've got the creative midfielder now and the young pacey winger...... now we just need a tall forward?? Glad to see some activity in the transfer market should make for an exciting season :clapping04:- Tokely Testimonial
:008: :008:- And now fer the bad news
Can't see Proctor going anywhere now... all the best Rossco!- Rankin Signs
delighted he's signed... never doubted it for a second :015: as yimp said "Hopefully not the last signing this Summer"- Rankin deal off !!
2 years to sign a player no wonder ICT are one of the most financialy stable clubs in Scotland :015:- Rankin deal off !!
Looks like someone is going to have to change the title of this thread then! :016:- another striker?
... but he would be a perfect player to offer experience to the team and fill th void for a season or 2 until Rory is firing on all cylinders!!- Borough Briggs Debut!!!!
:015: :015: :015: :015:- another striker?
I think Rory can do a job for us this season but since Motherwell have picked up McCormick and the youth striker from Celtic I have a hunch Jim Hamilton could be on CC's list :004:- Youth Investment/Wages/Information Disclosure
:clapping04: :clapping04:- The Official World Cup Thread
considering Materatzzi's almost 7ft I'd be lucky if I could reach his chin :016:- The Official World Cup Thread

I've always been taught actions speak louder than words :001: - Juventus to be relegated to Serie B
