  1. Well you cant argue with that - unless he changed his top at half time ?
  2. This will be interesting with Duncan and Cox in contention again and I reckon Foran should be rested - on the bench - even if he is fit. My team would be: ESSON DUFF ROSSCOE GRANTY SHINNIE HAYES DUNCAN COX ROSS OBDHIAMBHO ROONEY But I reckon TB will go fer: ESSON McCANN ROSSCOE GRANTY SHINNIE HAYES DUNCAN DUFF ROSS FORAN ROONEY
  3. PLAYED: SEVEN ; WON: Five ; DRAWN: TWO ; LOST FECK ALL ; FOR: FIFTEEN ; AGAINST: SIX POINTS - SEVENTEEN (out of 21) More evidence as a smaller and slightly more subdued ICT Away support (in the first 45 and not helped by over zealous stewarding again)backed the team to the hilt - and look at the manner in which the players and TB responded to us at the end of the game - that is what I call "togetherness". I would admit that our formation, our pace and our "play on the break" style is evidently the main contributor but the players quite simply respond to the away support in a mannner that is not shown or reciprocated at home games.
  5. I would have thought that given our woeful home record this season - and in previous SPL seasons (bar one) that we put all the thought and preparation in to the Hibbee game - and I fer one would be happy with a point rite now.
  6. Thank gawd that ya intervened there Lizi - For a moment there I thought I had been hallucinating.
  7. Now that I am sober that was not a bad wee report - wish I could remember doing it. Just to add that ICT Paisley got it spot on about Foran and he really could have come of at the break, plus he really did allow Imrie to wind him up and was as close to being sent off fer a second yellow as being hooked. Not entirelt shure what role TB gave him yesterday but he was practically shadowing Morrison which is a waste. He had gone down three times clutching his stomach but it looked like a foot injury that led to the hooking. Imrie showed nice touches in the first 30 minutes and took the goal really well. He always looks more dangerous when he is wide and that is where he was for most of the first half and then they moved him - or perhaps he moved in frustration - to a deeper midfield almost playmaking role - where he was ineffective and he could easily have been given a second yellow near the end. There were a few tanker impersonations from the Away support at the end to pay him back to his surreptitious tanker goal celebration. The core of our team - Esson, Rosscoe and Granty are really beginning to gel but I would like to see the Imrie goal as I thought Rosscoe was caught flat footed again. Morrison needs more time but I was talking about resting young Nick a few weeks ago but he is playing out of his skin and getting better each match - although I wish he could find his shooting boots. He gets himself in to some great positions but fluffs the finish. The only other minor criticism is that I am still not sure of McCann and I would be playing Duff at right back when Duncan and Cox are available again. And Cox didnt have impress me in the short time he had on the pitch - he was everywhere. I also felt that Eric could have been brought on a lot earlier - for Foran - as his pace would have killed them off sooner and we may have hit six - which we really could have anyway. As fer Hamilton - the stadium is the pits and the home crowd makes TCS feel atmospheric. Ross had the best view from the top of the container in the scaffolding end. "Hey teacher - leave those kids alone" CALEYAWAYWITHTERRYANDMO And as fer Tel Boy - he would be a great man to have leading a Hokey Cokey and lets hope that he gives us a repeat rendition in front of the Green Brigade next week.ICT
  8. Nope but we have to think that way - starting against Hibees.
  9. This simply has to be a mega turn out and support - irrespective of the outcome. PARTY CALEY AWAY
  10. Have to start by saying that it was one of the more subdued away days of the season but the last 45 performance lifted the crowd and then it was true Caley Away stuff. I feel that it was a lack of drunkedness pre match which I will be monitoring at Parkdread and intend to prevent a lack of intoxication to happen again. OK - the "paedo" Imrie chants were OTT but the old bill and the stewards picked on the youngest of the support :irritated: As fer the game - well if ever it was a case of a tale of two halves. I felt that the first half was the worst that I have seen this season and against the worst team that we have played this season - and they still (deservedly) went in 1-0 up, Imrie scored with a cute wee chick, I aint got anything against him and I could appreciate his wind ups BUT the five fingered - away from the officials - gesture to the ICT end and the smugness means that he is goin 2 get feckin laldy from me in the future. Second half was so focussed, so structured and so controlled that we cruised after we hit them twice and got even more comfortable when we hit the third - lets face it we cantered home. ESSON Ditto fer most of my comments this season - he has been and is IMMENSE McCANN I really have doubts. He is solid enuff defensively but his distribution is awry albeit he is beginning to overlap. ROSSCOE Did a job and cruised through the second half - Rosscoe and Granty are really beginning to gel. GRANTY Ditto fer Rosscoe but is becoming a bit of a reliable "sweeper" SHINNIE Shaky first half when he was targetted by Imrie but stood his ground - should keep his place. HAYES Has to be MOM but he really is a feckin frustrating **** - he was missiing in action fer the first half but feckin unstoppable in the second. DUFF Another who floundered in the first 45 and his passing was suspect - played the ball about well in the second - but he is the BEST right back that we have had in ages. MORRISON Hld his own but looked lost at times. ROSS Close to my MOM and happy birfday Nick - he looks really good in central midfield so keep him there TB. FORAN Was he fit from the off - keep him wide left and stop him from covering and swopping. ROONEY No pace but is this boy going to be one of the strongest hold up players and intuitive goal getters in the SPL. SUBS - Cox looked as if he is fit and raring to go. Terrible first half but Terry and Mo changed the tactics from being defensive to offensive at half time and we waltzed it - but we could have gone fer the jugular from the start.
  11. I like that IHE not a bad sense of humour considering you are a Celtic fan Like most gay peeple ya have seen ma upper arm but not ma erse.
  12. WARNING - PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THIS LINK IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED - I HAVE BEEN RELIABLY INFORMED THAT THIS COULD BE A REFERENCE TO THE REAL REASON THAT DOUGAL IS INFATIATED WITH WOMEN AND SITS AT THE FRONT OF THE MAIN STAND BESIDE THE STAIRWAY. :annoyed: The Real Dougal
  13. Leave Dougal alone - He is merely a lonely, gay person who is getting in touch with his feminine side. His partner is a male blow up doll and he is not referring to female looks or knowledge of football - he is referring to their fashion and make up - becos you should understand that he is wearing something similar as he types away in his wee flat on Kinnairdie Brae. One should have compassion with transexuals and not ridicule them. All power to ya Dougal Gudgie Cof.
  14. The Chorley Inter City Firm is due to hit central at 11.07 - expect a pint of Caffreys to be waiting.
  15. Trust Dundee to be twenty points posts behind.
  16. Which season - 2010/2011 or 2011/2012 ?
  17. Grant Munro - Grant Munro - He goes by the name of Grant Munro.
  18. Wow - some peeple are actually taking notice. Grant Munro was brought up in the shadows of the Machine - but that was a great learning curve and role model. Since the machine left not only has Granty had to suffer a fair number of central defence partners - all of different styles and skill levels - but he has also had to deal with a succesion of full backs that he had had to cover for - in my opinion Lionel must have been a nightmare but even the marauding Rosscoe at this offensive best created problems. but granty has stuck by it and is now beginning to show the beginnings of a new machine - and I couldnt praise him higher than that. I also feel that he did suffer from the extra stress and responsibility of captaincy and was probably given the role too early but who else was there. He was excellent last season and this year is showing the benefit of being able to think mainly about himself without worrying too much about the deficits of others. The only chant has to be like the man himself - simple but effective: Grant Munro - Grant Munro - He goes by the name of Grant Munro (repeat)
  19. CaleyAwaywithTerryandMo
  20. NO - Sorry Alex - it is a lot more than that - CaleyAway just grows and grows - we practically are "brothers" - that is where the "feeling" and the "togetherness" eminates from - and it spills on to the pitch. And there are more and more yoof, leading the choir, aand increasing game by game. We are feckin enjoying ourselves. PLAYED: SIX ; WON: FOUR ; DRAWN: TWO ; LOST FECK ALL ; FOR: A FECKIN DOZEN ; LOST: FIVE CALEYAWAYWITHTERRYANDMO
  21. Foran is on the way back and I feel he has been improving with every game. I dont think that it has helped that he has had to play in central midfield and - as at Castle Greyskull I always feel that he plays much better and is more of an influence when he starts drifting wide left - but IMHO wide left is not the best position to captain a side from.
  22. Has anyone actually though that yon fecker Cumming is the reason fer our poor home form - get out the sand and the feckin moles and we may then be a Top 6 outfit.
  23. "Traitors from the stand" plus some "pseudo" Caley fans who never admitted / realised that we hated Ross County - just behind Hellgin Shittteee - when they try and enter the Howden End in the Sky - St Peter will banish them to the fires. Plus there is an influx of Weegies in Sneck and there has always been an older age Old Filth following - agin those who decried ICT and fought for Caley and Thistle cos the Old Filth were always their first love and allegiance.
  24. Spot on Hairy - this is our first season back in the SPL and this is consolidation time - I can see Butcher and Malpas being here for a good few years and we have a YOUNG, DEVELOPING, EXCITING squad with a lot of potential. Put a bit of experience in there and who knows ??
