Me too. Central midfield is his position but he had to play wide left to get a game. Just really don't understand the thinking behind this one and it doesn't inspire me with much confidence for the season ahead.

Totally agree. Getting rid of one of the few players who can actually pass the ball shows us which direction we are heading. Will have to think long and hard renewing my season ticket now

Glad we've got some time off as I need to recharge my football batteries. It's been a long and arduous season and it's taken it's toll. Coupled with relegation we've had to endure some of the worst football on offer at ICT and the general standard of the SPL is at an all time low Can't say I'm as excited as the above about the prospect of life in the first. It's going to be hell trying to get back into the SPL

Dundee had a 300k bid for a player turned down last week!!! Even if we were still in the SPL we couldn't match that. I've also just read we have 16 players out of contract!!!

Next season is definitely going to be 'interesting'. I'm afraid if anyone thinks we'll easily win the title and bounce straight back up they are going to be in for a nasty surprise. We are now in a much more competitive and cut throat league and it's going to be a battle from day 1

Yip cheaper season tickets and 4 games against county are about the only positives. That and no more unrealistic "Top 6" next season posts on here!!

I imagine most will be back. Supporting ICT isn't exactly glory hunting!! We'll miss all the County fans who used to come along to see what SPL football was like

I suppose it's easy to say with the benefit of hindsight but I'm afraid Butcher & Malpas picked the wrong team and formation (yet again) today! Tokely at CB & Pavels at RB WTF!!! The sending off of Tokely was the killer blow but some very disappointing performances on such an important day leave a sour taste in the mouth. Once we were down to 10 it was inevitable Falkirk would score. We couldn't have backed off them anymore if we tried and any time we stole possession form the ball was immediately hoofed straight back to them For once there was great support from the crowd and the Falkirk fans were also immense but sadly that makes no difference to what happens on the pitch. What does puzzle me is why a player who gets a well deserved red card on a day like today gets a standing ovation from some people. Truly bizarre!!

Have to echo the sentiment that Djebi-Zadi was OK today there were far worse performances, step forward Imrie, Kerr & McBain.

There is more than enough blame to go round. It's not all Brewsters fault but a large portion of it has to be attributed to him. The board, the players and even the new management team all played there part in our downfall. Thought the crowd was fantastic today (including the Falkirk fans) and it just shows you that a vocal and passionate support makes feck all difference if the team aren't good enough

This is another reason to avoid the drop as far as I'm concerned!! A big spending Dundee will obviously be the team to beat in the 1st division next season
