We couldn't afford his wages even if we were in the SPL and besides McGhee said he was willing to give Smith another opportunity. I did notice that Gary Mason and Will Haining have left St Mirren. Mason might be worth a look at given his experience and he has a nack for good goals.

While we lacking the financial backbone that Dundee posess i think we will give it a right good go for the league. We can definitely compete with them. I really don't think Dundee will be the dominant team in the first division. I can see it being a 3 horse race between, them, ourselves and Dunfermline.

He was a very promising prospect at Hibs and would be a great signing given we have vitually no midfield.

As far as we know that french trialist we have is a centre back so if thats the case i'm guessing that Rosscoe is going to be back at right flank next season and were going to try and get someone new. And tbh thats where i think his best position is, at right back. But if he does move back to the right then i think Jamie Duff should get a crack in the centre alongside Granty.

He would be ok there but i reckon his physical presence is needed at left-back.

I've never visited the likes of Starks Park and the Aldmonvale before so i will try and make it there. Queens would be a good journey too and of course there is the good old trips to Dingwall...only now for the first time in 5 years they matter.

I think the polish goalie plays for Darlington and is called Przemysław Kazimierczak. Said in the Courier today that our polish trialist was south of the border. Found the goalie on Wikipedia. There aren't many Polish goalies in the lower leagues in England.

Baltacha, Hastings and Xausa and Marius Niculae are the only ones who have had a worthwhile international career.

The likes of Antoine-Curier may become available at Dundee after signing the likes of Sean Higgins and Leigh Griffiths. I can see some of their better players from last season being ousted to make way for new players.

Thats something i would expect our board to say. Can see them heading out of the 1st Division before a ball is even kicked.

If Foran and Odhiambo stay coupled with some good summer captures then our chances of promotion are very high me thinks. Dundee will be tough competitors but i don't think they will coast through the league. Unless the following above happen i think we will languish in the 1st Division for a few years.

He did show his capabilities when he joined but i don't think he is irreplaceable. What is dissapointing though is all our regular mids are now gone if Kerr does go. We are basically going to have to start from scratch in that department.
