  1. Just been on the BBC website and Ipswich fans seem to be keen on Roy Keane but some are suggesting Butcher.
  2. Given that we were once the underdogs from the 1st Division in 2003 and 04 then i only find it appropriate to support the likes of Dunfermline who progress this far. Good luck to them.
  3. Thats what i'm saying. Returning to your boyhood/special team is not going to necessarliy be a happy ending after watching Brewster do it, i seriously doubt Butcher will. Never mind better manager he is just a smarter guy in general i reckon. He's only got a year left on his deal though at the end of the season though so that better get sorted.
  4. You'd think he would have more sense than to do a Brewster. I'm praying that this just stays a rumour. We really need some stability at this club in terms of a manager, something we have lacked since we arrived in the SPL for a number of reasons.
  5. What i'm saying Mahonio is that if the players know there is going to be a big crowd then it should be an extra incentive to put in a great performance, (not that i'm doubting they would put in a performance anyway). It could help them bow out of the season on a great high, which should be survival. Sorry should have been more specific
  6. If he was so "useless" then he wouldn't have walked up Kilimanjaro and raised all that money for charity. While i may hate his show and Radio 1 in general i do have some respect for him and any celebrity that puts themselves out for a good cause.
  7. What would be good is if we get a great crowd for the last game of the season. I remember for that game that Dunfermline got relegated, which was our final home game that year, we packed in over 6,000 fans that day with a great turn out from both fans. Would love to see that again and i think it would give the players an awesome boost for the game.
  8. Did a talk/powerpoint on ICT in 1st year, which was our debut season in the SPL. To end it i showed the highlights of our 1st division triumph.
  9. 2004-05. Lost 3, drew 2 2005-06. Won all 5 2006-07. Won 3, drew 1, lost 1 2007-08. Won 2, drew 1, lost 2
  10. ooooo, intrested Discuss? Monologue story, so it's self narrated. i tell the story of whats at steak if they lose, his error and how it felt. How it felt at being relegated and i made up what happened on the coach ride home and what the manager had to say to the team before and after etc etc. Thrown all together and i got an A :thumb04:
  11. Marius hit the bar against Falkirk with a header last season and called Greg Fleming into great save for Gretna when we smashed them 6-1, only for McAllister to put in the rebound and then perform his poncy celebration.
  12. While i think it's a fabulous idea and would give the rest of the teams in Scotland a great chance of success cup-wise i think the novelty would wear off soon enough and bizarrely enough the old firm would perhaps be missed. Although i don't think i would miss them personally. Financially we would suffer as well as most of our telivised games are against the old firm so there'd be a slight profit loss as well. Really don't see this going anywhere further in the near future though tbh.
  13. My sister was also mascot for the Dunfermline game, all seems so long ago now. Completely slipped my mind I also used Dorus de Vries error and Dunfermlines relegation as plotline for my Standard Grade English Exam, got an A for that but i'm going off topic. I agree with alimci, Hamilton have to be the most boring side i have ever seen play. I want them to get relegated.
  14. Of course...how did i forget? Thats it, he relegated them with the aid of Bambas boot in the last minute. If Falkirk continue to have their injury problems up front then it could work in our favour. BBC pundits say they couldn't see where goals were going to come from for Falkirk atm.
  15. Am i right in thinking we decided Dunfermlines fate 2 seasons ago?
  16. His changes payed off on Saturday i:e Morais, Imrie out wide and Foran up front in the 2nd half, stick with that regularly from now on and i see us getting some results. Problem with Hamilton is once they score the first goal against us they pack 10 players into their on half and soak up pressure. All Hamilton games vs us this season have been boring. But luckily Brian Kerr changed that on Saturday . If we score first against them though i think we get the edge on them next time. If SPL is where we are next season then i can see us getting some good players in as well as keeping what we have minus Black. And having a good season in the league. Butcher got Motherwell into the top 6 while they were struggling. No reason why he can't do it with us.
  17. Esson Tokely, Mihadjuks, Munro, Djebi-Zadi Morais, Kerr, Black, Imrie Foran, Rooney Fraser, Duff, Hastings, Proctor, Vigurs, Odhiambo, Barrowman. Btw thats got to be the best team you have fielded Renegade, i'd be tempted to go with that.
  18. It's going to be a game to remember anyway. There will certainly be alot of emotion at full time, hopefully bad for Falkirk, good for us.
  19. After watching Motherwell on Saturday and given that they have absolutely nothing to play for i wouldn't be suprised if a few teams grab points of them. Us included.

    Gathuessi

I can see Rosscoe moving into that sort of position as a centre-back regularly as he gets older and the 60 yard runs perhaps become a bit harder. Gathuessi is a decent full-back but given the number we have atm it is just hard to break into the team. Although i would like to see him play at right back if Pavels is still out. No point in putting him at centre-back, too small.
  21. His free-kick against Dundee a few weeks ago was of SPL quality, not sure what the rest of him is like though.
  22. Having looked at the fixtures i would say i'm a wee bit nervous but i think our current set of players have got it in them too insure we finish as strongly as we can.
  23. Stevie Crawford is in temporary charge of East Fife I wonder if he will be looking to get that job as well.
  24. Apart from Pavels and mayb'e Foran and Morais, the rest of the January signed players still have a point point to prove between now and the end of the season
