BREWSTER FOR COUNTY PETITION
Agreed, he is used to working with next to nothing in terms of money and he will inherit a good squad and Andy Barrowman.

Nick Ross called up and scores for U21 Squad
Good for Nick. Hoping thats the first of many.

Odhiambo attracting intrest.
Read it on teletext, Odi's agent says that clubs in the Championship and League one are monitoring him and that he is keeping his options open but is happy here, he's had a decent season so far but i wouldn't be terribly concerned if he did leave. Be more worried if it were one of our Irish trio.

New Signings in January
In total agreement with bdu. Main priority should be retaining Rooney just now and should we have to cash in on him it wouldn't suprise me if we had the kind of money to sign someone like Griffiths. Only player i feel we lack is an attacking midfielder. I heard about Mackay-Steven rejecting us as well, though if we were in a position to get him i would give him a chance, showed a great deal of potential when he was on trial here and would be great to test him against bigger teams.

Team fer Hibs
Liking IHE's team but i would stick with the same formation we genereally use. Esson Duff, Tokely, Munro, Shinnie Cox, Duncan Hayes, Odhiambo, Ross (depending on Forans fitness) Rooney Subs: Tuffey, Golabek, McBain, Morrison, Sanchez, Foran/Ross, Sutherland
-
Danni Sanchez
He helped earn a point at Hibs when he came on as a sub but since then has become a permanent bench warmer which is ashame, but i think he should get more time from the bench. With Foran and Sutherland potentially out next week he may get a chance.

Does anyone remember Craig Brewster?
Given the current set of people that are in the running of the job i would say County may have to put up with him for a little while longer.

Matchday Thread: Hamilton -V- ICT
In your face Dougie Imrie! Seriously though, great result. Rooney continues to bang in the goals and great for Jonny to grab another one. Yet again it dosen't matter what the situation is we seem to grab a result away from home. Only dissapointment is it sounds like Foran came off with a nasty injury.

New Signings in January
Not saying i want him gone but it is possible McCann could return to Hibs if Calderwood wants to assess him. If so we could shift Duff to right back and bring in a new midfielder. I would like another attacking midfielder. Also would'nt mind some more defensive cover.

Matchnight Thread: Aberdeen -V- ICT
Dosent seem to matter who we play or what the circumstances are...we always seem to get a result away from home. Having viewed the penalty id say it was soft but its karma as Aberdeen have won several soft ones of us in the past. McGhee's conduct towards the decision however was unacceptable and i hope he is punished for that. When Velicka equalised i thought that if we weathered the pressure that was too follow and that was the case, great cross from Foran and great header from Granty. Fantastic away support, made up for the lousy turnout from Aberdeens fans. And to Chris Maguire, Duff got you good.

Grant Munro
He had a fantastic game last night and deserved his goal.

Team for Aberdeen....

Duncan Out for two matches!
He has been awesome recently and i think will be missed tomorrow night. Personally i'd rather give Cox a punt tomorrow night.
-
It could be us (Manager Scalps - Merged)
Tomorrow night may well show were the loyalty of Aberdeens players lie. The match itself i think could end up being a real thriller.

Matchday Thread: ICT -V- Motherwell
The most entertaining gamme weve had here all season imo. Both teams got at each other and showed their attacking qualities at times. We were unfortunately undone by 2 bizarre goals in 10 minutes. In the end what did for Motherwell was their width, Humphrey was superb. Johnny does a job but i wouldnt mind a wide player on the other side doing a similar job. Thought we battled well in the 2nd half. Great thinking from Rosscoe with the quick free kick, pitty Rooney failed with the header. Coutos to Duff for his goal, was an absolute cracker. Thought we pressed well for an equaliser and were unlucky to to snatch one.

How can we improve at home?
All teams seem to be struggling at home this season, us, Hearts, Kilmarnock, Motherwell too. I can't really put my finger on it. I think we should just do our bit by supporting the team. I was really pleased to hear the backing the team got when we went 2-0 down yesterday. I don't think we will concede 2 goals as bizarre as that in a while, especially in the one game. We were unlucky yesterday. The Hibs game will be an intresting watch in 2 weeks time.

Johnny Hayes
His contract expires in 2012.
-
Team for the 'well
Esson Duff, Tokely, Munro, Shinnie Duncan, Ross Hayes, Odhiambo, Foran Rooney My bench will depend on who is fit for the weekend, they always seem to give different come back dates for players in the papers.

Perspectives
The more points we get now the better. I don't think we can make a realistic perdiction till about christmas.

Jonny Hayes to Celtic?(what if)
I predicted that this will happen within the next 2 seasons. I do hope it dosen't happen though.
