  1. Butcher says he wants Duff back. According to BBC Partick are looking at him as well.
  2. Csaba Laszlo just been sacked with immediate effect.
  3. Should maybe make a move if possible. said in the highland news we would if we could.
  4. Please be true...would like us to maybe get one more player before market ends.
  5. My favourite ref... :D He always gives us good decisions.
  6. We have 2 players that can play in his position and play better. I think his problem is his severe lack of pace. It almost gives him an inability to run at defenders. I know he is young and all but i'm really not convinced his is up to it.
  7. Robinho "Check out my new invisible phone gaffer." Mancini "Yeah i know the chairman got me one when i came here too."
  8. Proctor, Foran, Odhiambo. He did his best to keep Morais and Kerr as well. Thats what i was referring too. Djebi-Zadi was ok to keep and McBain should be used more.
  9. Probably of the same standard as Eagle, and Stratford... I'm a bit surprised by the persistent cynicism. Surely Butcher's signing record isn't significantly worse than those of any of the previous managers, and arguably, he's been working in more difficult circumstances. Eagle and Stratford haven't worked out; Hayes and Foran have; Bulvitis has played well over the past two or three months after finding his feet and Sanchez seems to divide the support (for what it's worth, I think he's been effective playing behind Rooney and has the potential to improve further, despite his profligacy in front of goal). So that's at least a 50% success record in the transfer market: not brilliant, but probably quite typical of most football managers. I'm as concerned as anyone about the future of the club, but I don't think we can lay much blame at Terry Butcher's door: any manager takes time to rebuild a team and there's been plenty of evidence that he's started to do that over the past few games. Not knocking Butcher's signings in paticular. Brewster was worse. He brought in many trialists and i think the only one he signed was Lionel. I'm more concerned about the fact that we will pay for them to come over for a trial and they will be bull. Tel found some gems and some real duds but i'm not convinced we have the money to get players in. Players HAVE to go first.
  10. We were a goal-line away from staying up, thats how close he got us. He put some confidence back in the team but unfortunately it wasn't enough. On a tight budget he did very well to secure most of our squad on new deals which i think is a credit to him. Cox, Sanchez, Hayes and Bulvitis also have proved very astute signings in the transfer market. As it says in recent weeks we have really started to look like more of a team and i can only hope it stays like that for the rest of the season, i seriously doubt we will win the league but if we can prop ourselves up a few places Terry can be relatively pleased with his achievments.
  11. If we had been relegated with even a few of those players in the team i think our prospects would look ever so slightly more rosy.
  12. I wonder what a daily routine consists of for a Caley Thistle board member because i bet it has nothing to do with even stepping foot inside the Stadium.
  13. Says in the courier Butcher hopes to bring in a few trialists this week. Who knows what gems he will find. :004:
  14. I got this i think and as it stands Rooney, Duncan, Barrowman and Munro have expiring contracts at the end of next season. Foran, Zadi, McBain, Odhiambo and Proctor signed 1 year deals when retained and they are up in July. Stratford, Hayes, Sanchez, Cox, Eagle, and Golabek all joined on 1 year deals in the summer, also up in July. Esson and Imrie joined on 2 year deals which finish this summer. Tokely signed a 2 year extension which finishes at the end of the season as well. Allison, Ross and Shinnie i think may be on amateur terms right now. Butcher and Malpas have deals finishing in July as well. So there you have it. 4 out of 21 secure for next season. Really 3 as i'm guessing we are trying to get shot of Barrowman, even the managment team are insecure. It isn't rocket science, it is common sense. Get some sort of package in place and get the long term future of this club sorted!
  15. Both could do a job me thinks. Chibber is right, Denzil wpuld make a decent attacking mid now. He is also experienced. Mo Camara wouldnt be a bad aquisition either.
  16. if true yes. I'm also being realisitic. Though i hope i'm proved wrong.
  17. Ashame. Was starting to look a bit more consistent. Wish they had taken him for the season. Sanchez will be on his tod now.
  18. Duncan, Rooney, Munro, Barrowman??? I thought Rosscoe was one but obviously not.
  19. Rooney pen. 1-0
  20. Agreed with Manny. Duncan played well enough on Monday to stay in the team but overall i'd say the teams about right. Duncan i guess can cover full back as well as midfield. And having Hayes and Odi provide good attacking options.
  21. Go to it Don. I'd sure love to see an ICT's fans thoughts...
  22. Club legend. Deserves all the praise he gets. Would love a traditional Rosscoe run ti win us the game today I'm also pleased he has taken the initative to voice his concerns about the clubs future. Shows he has got the bottle to ask the question as it is something that must be sorted sooner rather than later

    Mark Brown

Smith isn't as good as Brown, Stack is constantly injured and Ma-Kalamby is just rubbish and Hughes is trying to offload him. Markie will establish himself as number 1 i think.
  24. Someone clearly got up on the wrong side of the bed.
  25. His name was Geo Stewart. I played football with him once or twice in the street league and he went to were i worked. Didn't know him personally but his death has hit everyone that knew him very hard i believe.
