Team Age and Experience(or lack of)
There were plenty of free agents available from this league that would have been great additions to this team, but for some reason we didn't bother.

Butcher and Malpas' contract
They'd be lucky to get a new 5 day contract at this rate.

Steve Paterson's phone number?

Butcher's role
If he really cares then after today he will quit the Scotland job and putting everything into ICT. Given he was barely there this week for training with us and not even at the Scotland game says alot about his commitment. But with no job garunteed here next season there is no way he will quit the Scotland role.

ICT -V- QOS : matchday thread
Once a fortress that teams feared...now an absolute p***ing ground for any team. Too weak, too slow, lacking creativity and ran out of ideas far too quickly afterwhich we gave up. Disgraceful, simply disgraceful.

Roy McBain
Am i right in thinking Royster is due a testimonial next year?

Roy McBain
Don't think he was quite good enough in the SPL but i think McBain would be a very useful player in division 1. I thought when i heard he was staying that he would play regularly but it ain't happened. I do hope he gets back in the team though. Cox ain't been the best recently but i don't think he was too bad last game. Hoping he gets back to his determined ways.

Team for Queens
Esson Tokely, Bulvitis, Munro, Golabek Hayes, Duncan, Cox, Eagle Foran, Sanchez subs: Allison, Proctor, Ross, McBain, Rooney
-
Is Golabeck the answer?
Golabek is alot more reliable than Lionel. He hasn't played for a wee while so he mayb'e needs time to build up fitness. He was a bit off yesterday but i would still rather have him at LB.

the sending off which was deserved
Just noticed there was a thread for it. It was so blatant, Morrison leaned in with intent and then had the nerve to moan at Hayes for going down. How did the ref or the Linesman or even the 4th official not see it??? Absolute disgrace.

ICT V Ross County : matchday thread
Good game, pleased we got out with the win. All players played well, including Bulvitis, his distribution was a bit clumsy but some of his tackles were ace and he was solid against attackers. Foran worked his socks off and Sanchez did ok as well. Eagle's goal was a bit flukey but a goals a goal. Johnny Hayes was well up for the game as well and looked dangerous and how an earth did Scott Morrison not see red or at least a yellow for bowling Hayes over? Roll on 22nd November.

ICT Players
Scouts of Stoke City were apparently watching Don Cowie last season. I don't know how many teams showed an intrest in him. Leeds tryed to sign him on deadline day as well before he joined Watford.
-
ICT Players
Coventry were also intrested in Dargo, as was every team at the time. I seem to recall Norwich looking at Mark Brown as well when they lost Robert Green to West Ham.
-
ICT Players
Allan Smart went on to play for Watford. Les Fridge was goalkeeper for Chelsea, before failing and returning North. Arsenal i believe were very close to signing Niculae a few years ago as well.

ICT -V- Partick Th :Matchday Thread
I know what you are saying Jim but at present there are very few players in our squad that are SPL quality unlike the team that won promotion the last time we were in 1st division when a good number of them could easily have made the step up After todays showings Stevie there are very few that are of SFL quality.

ICT -V- Partick Th :Matchday Thread
Just back and ragin. The 1st half was not spectacular but all changed when Buchanan backheeled his 1st and after that it was 5 minutes of madness leading up to half time. The 2nd came from a long ball with our entire back four pushing up and Russell Duncan screwing up a backpass header for the 2nd and the 3rd a counter from a terrible Proctor pass. The worst ending to a half i will ever see. Barrowman was hoiched off at half time for Sanchez who made a big difference, more energy and was far more creative. Then Rooney also contributed by slamming home the penalty, Hayes was brought down after beating his man so no complaints. Foran got the 2nd without about 15 minutes left, Hayes made a great run, cut it back to Munro and it was an excellent cross, Richie quite literally threw himself at it with a header We were unlucky not to get a 2nd pen. Rooney got hauled to the ground. We came close for a 3rd when Proctor had a slide that got deflected at the keeper and Foran won a flick on and if Zadi had stayed at the back post he would have had a tap in. In terms of the performance it disturbs me that we need to concede 3 goals to up our game. The two performances either half were chalk and cheese, we probably should have been in front but as usual our finishing at 0-0 was 3rd rate. Too many changes were made as well. Dropping Sanchez was a mistake as per usual Barrowman never looked like scoring. The only marginally pleasing factor was the performance of Nick Ross. The few times he got on the ball Partick had alot of trouble dealing with him, he should retain his place for next week imo.

Lads going out on loan
Courier said last week that Sutherland probably won't be going out on loan.
-
Formartine United Sign....
Good. No club should have him darken their defence in Scotland.

What areas need strengthening?
A right winger. A good passer for the middle. Someone to replace Duff. A sub keeper. We may have to let go before we can bring in January though.
