Six games into the season
Er, we are fifth, Dundee at sixth - Link Yeh, I know. I looked at the wrong week for positions. :D :D

Lads going out on loan
Why oh why do people not just accept the fact that Zander just was not good enough to play in our 1st team? Don't think he was voted 3rd Div Player of the Year.

Changes
I agree that change is needed but turkeys do not vote for Christmas.

Dale Gillespie, Butchered
Yes I do go with Butcher because he is the manager and he will either succeed or fail because of the choices he makes. I agree that he took too long to get rid of Lionel - look at Hastings, rave reviews of his debut for Hamilton on Sunday but I think this only shows that he needed a change of club. We are however getting off the subject and the fact is that Dale was not good enough to get a first team place - that doesn't make him a dud, it just means that he has to find his level.

Dale Gillespie, Butchered
Yes, but not so many of them played for Scotland U19s. Besides, many good young players have left the club recently (Vigurs, Wood, Zander spring to mind). I think this merits some kind of discussion, no? We can discuss it till the air turns blue but if the manager doesn't rate these guys there is absolutely no point. Look, Dale was NOT good enough - full stop! Vigurs seemingly had an attitude problem. Wood was not good enough! Zander is now playing at his level. I would go with Butchers choice before Brewster any day of the week.

Scotland
Strachan or Souness (with Joe Jordon around the camp) will do me until the next time we fail to qualify.

Vigurs is top young player in SFL
What has Vigurs got to do with ICT? For whatever his reason(s) our manager deemed he wasn't good enough - full stop!
-
Dale Gillespie, Butchered
Why are we going on and on about a player who NEVER played in our 1st Team? Many many youth players have come and gone at this club without even a mention! He is now looking , or speaking to Strathspey Thistle FC - says it all! Makes me wonder who started this thread. :022:

Losing faith in Butcher
The return of Golly will help the dressing room and the management team no end. If the players play with some passion we have as good a chance as any other team to go up. Let's give Butcher and Malpas our 100% backing.

Dale Gillespie, Butchered
I wouldn't be surprised if duff was next to go. Butcher clearly can't see what talent is, if his signing are anything to go by. i can honestly say [Abuse removed] I have no faith in the guy whatsoever. he has completely scrapped all the young talent the club did so well to produce..ie Vigurs, Wood, Zander, Dale etc. By the time butcher is finished he'll have a bunch of lads from down south who have no connection or knowledge of the club and they'll probably be sh*t just like the lads he's already brought in bar Cox (who i actually do think is good). i could understand why butcher would get rid of these guys if he was replacing them with better players but he isn't. With blackie, cowie, hasting, fraser, vigurs, wood, zander, dale etc all gone, and now Duncan, Duff and mcbain not getting a look in.....it just seems like butcher has ripped the heart out of the team. AM I THE ONLY PERSON THAT IS SEEING THIS???? These are the players that helped us achieve good things. Sorry, but this is a fact of life in football. I don't think you will hear Ross and Shinnie complain!

Dale Gillespie, Butchered
And absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Dale Gillespie, Butchered
Good luck to the boy but football is a nasty business when a kids dream is ruined. It really is all about opinion, Brewster thought he was good enough but Butcher didn't. Simple as that. He isn't the first to be told it's over and he certainly won't be the last. Now is the time to get a real job and move on.

How dare anyone print an incorrect, unofficial list! ^_^

Not having seen the accounts, could someone please tell me what our assets of ?900k actually represent (not owning the stadium etc)?

shop and ticket office to go
That portacabin was a joke and an eyesore anyway. I wonder how may Prem and 1st Div clubs have a club shop open other than match days? They could move the portacbin to the home car park and open it on match days.

Proctor
Sorry but I just can't see where Proctor will get a game. He is NOT good enough even for the first divi.

League Cup 2nd Round
Tomorrow lunchtime. I want Albion away because i've never been to Cliftonhill. You don't want to go to Coatbridge - believe me.
-
Dear Mr Butcher
Well it's pretty simple: Brewster Managerial Career - ICT (1st spell) - Relative Success - Dundee United - DISASTER - ICT (2nd spell) - DISASTER Malpas Managerial Career - Motherwell - DISASTER The fans hated him and campaigned for his dismissal sound familliar. - SWINDON - DISASTER Need I say more? Come on Renegade, give it time. It only seems to be you that's stirring the pot and having a go at MM. What the hell has he done to you to deserve this stick?
-
Dear Mr Butcher
Yeah! Butcher and Malpas must go! It starts here! For gods sake don't start this "Butcher Must Go" nonsence after one diddy cup game. Everyone should give him their full support and pass comment after the first quarter of the league campaign.

New Away Kit
It would seem that 66% of fans would disagree with you. 66% of fans on this forum disagree with me Alex . Not all ICT fans use this forum believe it or not I'm sure this will be a commercial success if the club can sell 48! WOW
-
New Away Kit
Totally agree with you. Erea obviouslynot prepared to design one for us so we take what they offer.

Signings For Next Season
Point taken CaleyD, I genuinely didn't notice this "rule" but you are pushing the boat out if you expect me to apologise for suggesting that someone should loosen up.

New Owners For Clach
excuse ma ignorance but owned Clach prior to their sale to either savage or the builder? Charlie Forbes, James Macdonald, Ken Macleod, Calum Grant, Colin Morgan and Alistair and David Dowling are the consortium who saved the club from going to the wall in 1990, David Dowling is still there as Chairman, with Colin Morgan a director of the club. The main sponsor is Tulloch Homes. You missed Dave Love Caley D. He was the guy who put these people together, put hard cash in and was also a Director. My apologies Caley D - I should have known better :022:
