  1. Former ICT youth player, Daniel Park netted for Pele's Formartine in their excellent 2-0 win against East Stirling in the Ramsdens Cup.
  2. Charlton Athletic report the attendance to be 2,801 with 132 'away' fans.
  3. Where's Richie Foran?! Interesting selection with Polworth starting ahead of Nick Ross but he (Liam) has been impressive in pre-season.
  4. Yeah, he may feature in the U20's at times and with Falkirk in the U20 league, he may be back playing at the TCS before too long! He's confirmed the move to Falkirk on his Twitter.............https://twitter.com/P_J_Roberts
  5. Philip Roberts has seemingly returned to Scotland and signed a 2 year deal at Falkirk!
  6. Going to China is such a money-grabbing move! Certainly not to forward a career... I see also that Andre Blackman has finally managed to get a club to take a chance on him - he's signed up with Plymouth Argyle.
  7. The Hibs result is a huge embarrassment for Scottish football. It should be remembered that Malmo took until half-time in the 2nd leg to open the scoring in the previous round...against Drogheda United who are in a relegation battle in the League of Ireland! St. Johnstone's result was one step forward but Hibs' effort takes us three steps back! I just heard a UK national news bulletin where the Hibs result was mentioned but not the Saints one. You could even hear the newscaster smirking as it was almost like a jokey "and finally....", item. Apparently it's the worst (home) result in Scottish football history. A very inauspicious start to day one of the brave new era of SPFL Premiership football!
  8. Calum Howarth. U20 defender.
  9. Very good IHE! I'm glad you posted that as your first joke was well below your usual standards!
  10. No worries if the bus breaks down - Richie will dive under and fix it.
  11. He likely got hounded out of 'Miami' for requesting a track by Mike and the Mechanics. !!!
  12. He's maybe looking to a career after football....as a car mechanic. A Kwik Foot Footer, if you will.
  13. Good! Justice has been done...if only that farce in Madagascar (149-0) had seen the same punishment then Arbroath's record would still stand!
  14. I just feel that those stats can be dismissed as being of little significance due to the fact that Celtic fare worse than Motherwell, Dundee United, Ross County, St. Mirren and Hibs in both tables. Lies, damned lies and statistics!
  15. Can't look into those stats too much. I mean, if you have to go a goal down to a team, which team would it be to give you the best chance of still getting something? Hibs? St. Mirren? County? NO! The answer, for all teams, is Celtic! Not that I doubt the accuracy of the stats, but, in reality, what a lot of drivel!!!
  16. Fair play to the guy winning it but the reaction by the UK media I've seen is a bit over-the-top. Claiming him as 'ours' is clutching at straws, to say the least. No more than another 'passport Brit'.
  17. Shane Sutherland (Forres Mechanics 0-4 Elgin City) Debut goal for Shane after signing for Elgin.
  18. Yeah, he had a very short loan spell for a few games to help out Barry Wilson during an injury 'crisis' at Wick!
  19. 2-2 Final Score. I think our first goal was an o.g. from a Raith defender.
  20. Inverness Caledonian Thistle: Brill, Raven, Shinnie, Vincent, Warren, Meekings, McKay, Greenhalgh, Foran, Doran, Ross. Subs. Devine, Williams, Tremarco, Polworth, Cooper, Christie, Mackay.
  21. I heard he was injured again.
  22. I suspect you're maybe over-thinking things there, HSWHW. In my mind, pre-season is just about fitness, getting to gel with new squad players and trying things out. Historically, it hasn't had a great influence on teams' seasons. Where teams go, or who they play has no bearing on what happens come the real thing. I mean, ICT went continental a few years ago with little significance. Last season was our most successful ever...and aside from the home game against Coventry, our preparation saw games against Clach, Buckie, Muir of Ord, Deveronvale, Elgin, Wick and Brechin. Indeed, the last 2 games we drew at Wick and lost at Brechin! Real season saw wins at Ibrox and Parkhead! I enjoy the odd pre-season game but don't place any great significance on the outcomes.
  23. Was it a gun you had in your pocket or were you just excited to be at the valley?!
  24. Whenever I've been to Grant Street park I've always noticed 2 guys behind the goals, one eats batteries and the other eats fireworks! Mad! When the police arrive, usually the first guy is charged and the other guy gets let-off!
