  1. Tokely, Munro and Duncan were fantastic servants for ICT. Two were released, the other forced out. There'll be no booing from me and no self-respecting ICT should be either.
  2. I wonder where they'd move the football too. Surely not Glasgow again, give somewhere else a chance. A Scottish Cup final in the capital - I'd like the sound of that.
  3. I take it the County players were busy oiling their wagon wheels while this was being filmed!
  4. So are you saying that Roberts' performance was among the worst you've ever seen? Dear oh dear. Keep smoking whatever it is you're on!
  5. Don't feed the troll.
  6. I see Section A is now completely sold out! So, has that now been reserved for County too, have tons of ICT Section A fans all bought the tickets in a one-er, or have those tickets been allocated to a school or something?
  7. I'd like to see Roberts and Foran getting a run together.
  8. My thinking was that as either these sections are available then they are either sold out (by County fans), or they are in waiting for when County sell out their allocation. No big if about it. County only have 69 tickets left to sell. I think they'll sell those in a week. Interesting thing though, all the sections (bar Section A that's only sold the front row) that are still available in the North Stand have mainly only seats to the front for sale, except Section C which has sold out the front, but seats at the back still readily available. Not much left in the covered areas of the Main Stand though.
  9. I think that game single handedly dispels this nonsense of how this team can't and should not attempt to play attacking football. The breaks forward and surges into the box on Saturday looked dangerous on every occasion, and on another day it could well have been more than four. Using last seasons tactics, we'd have seen players like Roberts, Andrew Shinnie, Morrison and Doran rendered useless, but by keeping the ball on the deck, it evidently makes them forces to be reckoned with on the field and even when the ball was played high, there seemed to be a lot more direction and intent in them than before. There was very little of the old "hit and hope" mentality of last season. Many of us have been calling for the binning of the long ball game for a long time and have evidently been proven right. Friday will be a test against a real long ball side, but by playing the way they did on Saturday and taking the game to County, there'll be a few tears before bedtime in Dingwall that night.
  10. Agreed, but considering just a couple of months ago we were told their was no money left for any new players, it seems a bit strange to now bring in yet another player, especially one going by Wikipedia has played a grand total of two games in his entire career! Oh well, here's hoping he's another Jonny Hayes and not another Gil Blumenshtein.
  11. I take it both the Southern Wing and the West Stand have been given to County? Seems a bit unlikely that they'd both sell out with home fans.
  12. What kind of source is this? A good one like a club official or someone in the press or your father's long lost cousin's best friend's aunt's butler?
  13. I was there Good Points - Foran was excellent. Scored two great goals and set up too others. Can't ask for much more than that! Reguero was impressive. He seems a bit more eccentric, but I like him! Doran (who has excellent), Andrew Shinnie and Raven were all much improved. Both centre backs looked solid. Philip Roberts played very well and scored a fantastic goal. Crazy hair mind! Some excellent passages of play, with ICT being miles better keeping the ball on deck. Negative Points - NONE! All in all, a great performance, albeit though against perhaps the poorest Dundee United side I've ever seen. No chance of going down if ICT can continue with performances like that. Bring on the County!
  14. Does the Chieftan not have an advertising board at the TCS?
  15. FT - ICT 0-1 Dundee United FT - ICT 1-2 Dundee United ICT 1st scorer - Draper Dundee United 1st scorer - Daly Attendance - 3,912
  16. Butcher's facing a one match ban due to his remarks about the referee after the Aberdeen game. http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/19764140 While he may be right about the penalty claim, he is incorrect about the Jones sending off. It was a blatant red card.
  17. I was there Plus Points - Esson saves the day again. Foran played well. Roberts looks promising. Warren solid once more. Negative Points - Poor game - poor conditions - poor performance. Raven doesn't do it for me I'm afraid. Andrew Shinnie's gone back to the player he was when he first arrived. Doran is off form.
  18. Esson Meekings Warren Foran G.Shinnie A.Shinnie Draper Morrison Roberts Oswell McKay Subs - Reguero, Raven, Pepper, Doran, Brislen-Hall, Blackman, Cooper
  19. There's no segregation I believe.
  20. HT - Stenhousemuir 0-0 ICT FT - Stenhousemuir 1-2 ICT Stenhousemuir 1st scorer - Kean ICT 1st scorer - Andrew Shinnie Attendance - 721
  21. It should also be said that Inverness Thistle (not sure about Caledonian) was also an amalgamation in an unusual sort of way. They originally played at where Millburn Academy now stands before incorporating Crown FC into them and moving to Kingsmills Park. There was also a merger with Inverness Union as well at some point. So it's not just Caley and Thistle that are now part of ICT. Crown and Union are in there somewhere too!
  22. Rather he was out for three weeks than three months.
  23. Reguero Meekings Warren Foran G.Shinnie A.Shinnie Draper Pepper Roberts Oswell McKay Subs - Esson, Doran, Morrison, Brislan-Hall, Raven
  24. I was there Plus Points - Great comeback. Foran's form is back. Pepper looks promising. Warren looks the best organiser of the defence since Dods left. Meekings' Cryuff Turn. Negative Points - Raven is not good enough. Doran picked up where he left off against Aberdeen. Seems quite off form. Andrew Shinnie was quiet again. Graeme Shinnie is not a defensive midfielder. All in all, an exciting game (and only £12 for concessions - take note ICT). A great comeback, but a special mention must go to Hibs's second goal. A great strike. Bring on Stenhousemuir!
  25. HT - Hibs 1-0 ICT FT - Hibs 2-1 ICT Hibs 1st scorer - Wotherspoon ICT 1st scorer - Draper Attendance - 7,218
