I read somewhere he's never sworn or drank a drop of alcohol in his life.
-
The rumour on Hibs.net is that he's Leith-bound.

Don't forget of course, that apparently in the past Neil Lennon has applied for the ICT's managers job - in fact maybe more than once. I shudder to think what would happened with him in charge! In all honesty, questions need to be asked about this man's mental health. Normal people, even those under pressure in football management don't act like that. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he really does have something wrong with him, but there's no doubt really that he's a right ned.

Oh it's Russell Dunro. Or is it that other guy Grant Muncan?
-
I think I heard on the radio earlier that Paterson's now taking the ICT team. Also, am I only person who's horrified that there's no Djebi-Zadi?! He could play for both teams.......at the same time.
-
Where will these games be played? And if they're at the stadium, will they be open to the fans like the old reserve games were?
-
There was nothing wrong with the Reserve League IMO and getting rid of it was a mistake.
-
County probably have a better team than ICT just now. While they are going to lose Gardyne, they'll bring a few good players in. I expect them to be a difficult team to beat next season and could well finish above ICT.
-
The template for next seasons home kit perhaps?

The defence seems pretty hopeless just now to be honest, so I'm going with a back three - particularly with Saints always playing with two very strong strikers (or three now as the case may be) - Tuffey Tokely Golobart Gillet Hayes Tansey Jones G.Shinnie McKay Tade Sutherland Subs - Baldy, Meekings, Foran, Winnall, Williams, Ross, Morrison

Not at all. If you look back at the time, Butcher was the man I wanted to replace Brewster. Changed days now. The Brian Clough analogy is a non-starter. All Butcher's won is a First Division trophy - Clough won two European Cups amongst many many others. He also hated the long ball game - was it not him who said that "if the game was supposed to be played in the clouds, there'd be grass up there"? Butcher's a long ball manager and he's done it essentially everywhere he's gone. And by the way, anyone who says that Butcher wasn't given enough time at Sydney and Brentford are talking nonsense. At Sydney, Butcher was described as having "imperial arrogance" and didn't exactly endear himself to the Australian media, fans or players with some of him his comments. Sydney's attendances fell drastically under Butcher - something many blamed on Butcher's long ball game. When it failed, he was sacked. Brentford was a disaster. The equivalent of saying he should have been given more time there is the same as saying Brewster should have been given more time at Dundee United!

Why is there another Hibs home game? That'll be the third this season.

Was the mascot on drugs yesterday? His dancing was nuts!

The elusive 4-5-1 formation. Long balls aimlessly punted forward. Lone frontmen who weren't built for the role constantly played no-matter what. Talented established players disappearing. Players being played despite week after week of sub-standard performances. Players looking bereft of confidence. Team playing without bite or flair. Manager picking his favourites no-matter what. Substitutions made far too late. Substitutions made in the ninetieth minute while desperately needing a goal. David Proctor always in the squad, despite being rubbish. Manager blaming everyone but himself for poor performances.....Oh sorry, I was talking about Brewster! Is the Butcher the man for the job? I really don't know. In my opinion, this man has made far too many changes than was necessary. There's no doubt that getting rid of Munro was the worst decision ever made any ICT manager. The defence was pretty good last season - it's been awful this season. Oh and by the way, County's is great this season, funny that..... Butcher's got some people eating out of his hand, but really where is this club going? Backwards is the only gear right now. I reckon that it all comes down to Christmas and the club is in the same position this December or worst of all, has gone backwards, then it will be time for him to stand aside. One thing I will say though, when Butcher signed a new deal in 2009 I said it would all end in tears. I see no reason why in the end I won't be proved correct.

I was just wondering, who's ICT's third choice keeper these days? I always thought it was a fellow named Ed Baldy for this season (by the way, yes that is his name. I am not making that up!), but I've seen a name Mathieson pop up. I'm sure SPL rules state that each team must have a keeper on the bench?

I think he and Tade are the complete mirror of each other! Tade has almost zero ball control but has a tremendous work-rate, Gnakpa on the other hand is quite skillfull but puts in almost zero effort. Personally, I'd go for the former essentially every time.

I think the difference is though, is that Hoddle and Gullit and others were some of the best ball players of the last few decades. Their's were really long passes than long balls, as was at least some method to it. What we're seeing here is kick and rush stuff.

I think the matter of the long ball is a big issue here. At the end of last season, Butcher said there would be a change in the footballing style for this season, so where is it? There has been some change, that's for sure, the new style is just more long balls! But should we expect anything different? Butcher's long ball style was hated at Sydney and it was hated at Brentford - he is a long ball manager. I think this can primarily be seen yesterday was in the first half. Tuffey was about to take a quick passed goal kick to Piermayr, only for Butcher to come racing to the edge of his area screaming "Get it up the park! Get it up the park!". This just shows that it what he wants to see and doesn't have the courage in his players to play and to win. The problem is, most of these players are one HE brought in.

Tokely - The only player that played really well. Best man on the park. Golobart - Steady and did his job. Tuffey - Tough to pick a third one, he had little to do but did well when called upon.
