1000 Killie supporters would be about right... almost as many as the home support. I can accept the reluctance of those from Aberdeen or Perth, Glasgow Edinburgh etc, to make the trip, but surely more from Sneck could have made the effort.... We've got a new manager and we're playing some decent football ffs... Forget Brewster and the Numpties (good name for a band that!).... Supporter apathy will be the downfall of this football club...

I'd be more excited about avoiding relegation than getting to the cup final...

Falkirk didn't look like relegation material today by all accounts... And not much sign of a bad run for Hamilton on the horizon... Anyone thinking that it's going to be easier after the split better think again...

Probably are still favourites to go down... A lot depends on how long the "Butcher Effect" will last... I still think we can overtake Falkirk - maybe even St Mirren or Kilmarnock too...

Whilst TB was not my first choice as a relacement for Brewster I now firmly believe that his appointment will prove to be the best possible choice the club could have made, and one which will hold us in good stead for years to come. I'd be interested to know all the same how the appointment came to be made. Did TB contact the club when CB was sacked or did the club contact him? Did someone on the board hit on the idea of suggesting TB? If so I believe it could prove to be an inspirational decision. It's a shame no-one from the board ever reads any of this stuff so the chances are we'll never know who's idea it was...

Does seem to get a wee bit eratic when a shooting opportunity comes along.... That's maybe down to a wee lack of confidence in front of goal - great prospect though, but for the moment I'd say keep him in a midfield role.

Going way off topic now... sorry... This from a Dundee court... Sheriff Davidson at Dundee Sheriff Court was dealing with a case of a chap resisting arrest.He was fined ?400 and his solicitor told the sheriff that his client could pay the fine at ?2.50 a fortnight. With a baleful gaze the good sheriff told him : I'm not collecting for a catalogue" and upped the payments to ?10....

Managers are paid to take decisions regards bringing in players. In cases where they have worked with certain players in the past, they are in the best position to judge whether : (a) a player will play to his capabilities, put in a decent shift, both on and off the field... {b} fit in and get on well with his team-mates. The whole history of the game is littered with instances where a player, or players, just cannot perform under certain styles of management, but give them a move, and the transformation can be dramatic. Hopefully dramatic transformations will be the the order of the day with the new TB signings! Time will tell...

Spot on Stevo... Let's just see how far Butcher can go with ICT and get right behind him and the players - early signs are very encouraging. I for one can't be ersed with any more crusades at the moment...

If we do stay up I'm quite sure the board will be very quick to point out that the majority of the support wanted Robbo to get the job. If Butcher then goes on to take ICT towards or even into a top six finish next season, you'd have to say they made a good decision with his appointment...

I suspect he and Butcher have a healthy respect for each other which can only be good for ICT...
