  1. A local lad who puts his heart and soul into ICT and is rapidly heading for legend status. In my view he should still be captain.
  2. The club are going to issue a statement later on today. What you've said at the top of the thread may very well turn out to be true. Right now McGhee is still the manager - at least for a few more hours!
  3. With MissICT's impeccable sources I guess this must be true!
  4. Couldn't you make it a stretched limo, with a bar on board?
  5. Good preview - I wondered why you've been a wee bit quiet over the past 24 hours.
  6. Steven Gerrard would have been proud of the Duff goal....
  7. It is interesting.... Although he did take a knock and was holding his stomach for a while, I couldn't help notice that TB completely ignored him when he came off. That doesn't usually happen....
  8. Thoroughly deserved.... That won't do his career any harm, and he certainly won't let anyone down.
  9. You think they'll try and interview him tomorrow night?
  10. Maybe have Shane Sutherland and his fresh young legs on from the start, and possibly resERECT Cox.
  11. Looking at the highlights you'd have to say we were a tad unlucky - I'm not convinced the ball was over the line for Motherwell's first goal, and it might even have been offside, but their players had begun to celebrate so what can you do? Shane (and his fresh young legs) did give the game some added interest. Caley100 was positively drooling when he came on. A draw would have been a fair result.
  12. James Taylor in concert. Vintage TV - Sky Channel 369
  13. That sums up yesterday pretty well.... They were aware right from the start of the threat that would come from Hayes, and they were ready for it. Homework and all that.... If we could have taken care of Humphrey we might have taken something from the game. As I mentioned on another thread someone (Tokely perhaps) should have put in a couple of meaningful tackles on him - it would have been worth a yellow card. Back on topic how can we improve our performances at home? One thing I've noticed is how little advantage we gain from any set pieces. Just about every throw in,corner kick, free kick, results in us giving away possession. That fact just has to be addressed - much more time needs to be spent on this on the training ground.
  14. Don't beat about the bush, kid.... Give it to 'em straight. Tell it like it is. We just don't need their kind of cr@ap here in Scotland. Oh, and have a green dot.
  15. I thought Humphrey was the main difference between them and us. Having said that, he should have been identified by the defence as a serious threat, and someone (Tokely?) should have gone in with one or two hefty challenges - perhaps not of the career threatening variety, but at least sufficient to dampen his enthusiasm for the game. Might even have been worth a yellow card. That might not be the type of football that can win friends, but it sure can help win matches! How often do we have to watch Jonny Hayes frequently brought down with crude challenges? We should be prepared to dish it out too, when the need arises.
  16. We've only won 1 game at home in the league so far this season and that was against a team in terminal decline. Virtually the same 11 players who performed so well against Rangers last Saturday looked decidedly out of sorts yesterday. Why? How should TB and MM address this problem? It really is becoming a major headache. Suggestions please.....
  17. If we could replicate our away form at home 3rd/4th place would not be a unrealistic target.
  18. Assuming Duncan's fit I'd go with the line up that started against Rangers. Esson McCann Tokely Munro Shinnie Hayes Duff Duncan Ross Foran Rooney Tuffey, Morrison, Sanchez, Sutherland, Odhiambo
  19. Some very pertinent questions there.
  20. Sorely tempted to make this trip - I'd just love to see one of our away performances. (and victories)
  21. Good post DBS..... agree with the Brewster comments - his problem in his second spell at ICT was that no one completely forgave him for going to DUFC and taking Dods with him. Not so sure about TB and RD all the same... I get the distinct impression that TB and RD seldom see eye to eye.
  22. Any of the injured players now becoming available for selection are going to find it tough to get back into the present side. Nice problem for TB to have all the same - hopefully he'll find a way of keeping them all happy.
  23. The Sack the manager and Mike Smith threads seem to have died down a bit lately, but otherwise I agree with you! Also you left Craig Brewster off that list. .
  24. Yeah I remember Craig Brewster.... Brilliant player in his day - Never understood how he never won any Scottish caps....
