Scotland Squad
I would have preferred to see McFadden on from the start too. I think Scotland will get gubbed tonight, and Levein's role as manager will end in tears before the end of this campaign - I'm not blaming him - he's just not got anything special to work with. If I learned anything from last Saturday's fiasco with Hamilton, it was that I'd never, ever bet money on a football match again - so I've stuck a tenner on Lithuania, in the hope of getting some of that money back.

Fraser Feels the Pain
Good luck to the guy..... I always felt he was a decent shot-stopper, but was guilty of the odd howler now and again, especially with regard to his positioning. He might have benefitted from some good coaching.

Going to Easter Road
24 green dots so far for Johndo here - very impressive! Admin : How about a league table for best posts?

3rd Round CIS Cup Draw
I think it it's a good draw... Teams like ICT can be at their best when they've been written off, and at their worst when expected to win easily. Remember Saturday?

I think young Nick should be player of the month

Long time to wait for a pie
I had a pie and coffee served in the new bar area at half-time. There was a considerable queue but the quality of my (Scotch) pie was superb. If it is still the same people that are doing the catering they must have a new pie supplier.

Transfer Deadline
Mensing and Hasselbaink from Hamilton?

Dougie Imrie
What opportunity? My recollection of Imrie's appearance in the Challenge Cup Final, was of him coming on as a sub, almost into stoppage time. He took a flying two-footed lunge at some Dundee non-entity in frustration, and off he went.... It wasn't a major problem - the game was already lost by that time.

Start to the season
It didn't do us any harm last season.

Sports bar
Guinness with coke? What a strange combination.

Adam Rooney Hits 50
What a feckin surprise - "Who are you ?" I gave you a star a wee while ago for one of your rare, sensible and incisive comments. I'm going to remove it now. :irritated:

Adam Rooney Hits 50
I Hit 50 not so long ago and nobody said a feckin word.

Sports bar
How was the bacon roll? I was happy to find nicely-chilled cans of draught Guinness in the sports bar yesterday (?2.90). Thank you, Darren  ?3.96 for a 4 pack in Tescos.

Nick Ross
Pedz.... You could have started a thread on any of our players yesterday, inviting others to submit similarly abusive comments. Remember it is a team game - yesterday the whole feckin team was abysmal - why single out just 1 player?

Next Round
This had the makings of turning into quite an interesting thread...... Until that rather succinct comment.

We Will Lose Against Hamilton
It didn't soften the feckin blow.

Nick Ross
Totally agree.... In fact I'd go as far as to suggest Ross was our best player today. Hayes looked completely fecked by about halfway through the second half. I couldn't believe the substitution.

lost
Have you tried looking on ebay for it?

Dougie Imrie
The last game I saw him was the 2-0 defeat of Motherwell in the Scottish Cup last season. He came on as a sub in about the 15th minute to replace his injured flatmate, Hayes, and then proceeded to play the game of his life. I felt he was a huge inspiration for his team-mates that night - in fact I'd suggest that was the game that sparked off a major turning point in our season, and was an indication that promotion might still be achievable. I'll always be grateful to him for that.

Team For Accies
Yes it has, but none of the aforementioned players have been ruled out, or ruled in - I suspect TB will delay a decision on his line-up until just before kick off.
-
We Will Lose Against Hamilton
Best I could get (last night) was 18/1 for us to win by 4.
