  1. Aye.... That part of it really appeals to you... ;)
  2. I think he's seeking a much bigger role within the SFA than just of team manager. That's why discussions are currently underway regarding his entire remit, if he was to accept a position. He certainly won't be a puppet, and it's time there was a clearout at the SFA of all these "blazer and tie" guys. I think Levein could be the man for the job, but I don't think he'll want to sit on his erse, taking in the odd game until the qualifying rounds for the 2112 Euro Championships?
  3. That's really is the nub of the matter. What about TB and MM? Did they take a pay cut when we dropped to Div 1 or is that a question that shouldn't be asked?
  4. Reading between the lines of Butcher's statement at the top of this thread, I get the impression that if we lose our next two games, offers will be considered for all the players listed above who are under contract. Those who's contracts run out in January will be free to leave the club. By the end of January our sqaud could bear little or no resemblance to the present squad.
  5. :021: Crap song..... Brilliant video!!
  6. It's the kind of stuff you would play around the house to annoy your parents, and the neighbours too, if you've got a powerful enough system. I used to do the same with Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and the SAHB.... Great fun! Ratm aren't as bad as the Sex Pistols.
  7. No 2 goal start this time tho JB  ICT will get at least a draw out of this one - two goal start or not. I'm not putting any money on it this time though, you robber.... :D
  8. Here's hoping for a game as exciting and entertaining as was the Alba Cup Final - with a different result this time!
  9. He won't resign - he's contracted with ICT until the end of the season.
  10. I'm inclined to agree with Yngwie.... Our season is all but finished. The worrying part for me is the Catch 22 situation we are now in. Unable to even talk about rebuilding for next season until the present management team move on at the end of this one. Our remaining fixtures now look to be pretty meaningless.
  11. creature comforts
  12. I agree... BTW, anyone else notice that Ballymena beat Linfield 2-0 yesterday? That was a shock... :11doh:
  13. I'd say Hayes is good enough for the SPL.
  14. Jesus is coming and I think I am too. :11doh:
  15. Bit extreme there, Mantis..... Surely you could leave the toaster? :D
  16. Gawddd..... I hope not.
  17. I agree with Jnr... This could backfire on the Arabs in a big way. I thought Hughes was doing a good job at City and was well on his way to taking them to much greater things. He'll be snapped up by a big Premiership side before long. What does Mancini know about English football?
  18. Just tried to get up to the Tesco Retail Park, coming from Millburn Rd. Everything grinding to a halt trying to get up the wee bit of hill from the roundabout A9/A96 and blocking the road. Chaos! I just went all the way round the roundabout and headed back home. Not a gritter in sight at the moment. Mrs JB fixing me a hot toddy now... You can keep yer feckin snow.
  19. Peer pressure?
  20. Along with Cockney Rebel? That's a brilliant gig for Inverness. What is it about this place that attracts all these "old has beens" to come and play here?
  21. Looks like a huge crowd there.
  22. I can see him finishing up back at his old stomping ground, with old Grumpy taking on the Scotland job.
  23. Like Rooney of old?
  24. At least they're seeing some goals....
