  1. Smee, the building to the left is the Laundry, the garage was further behind, I think. If you lived in Burnie Terrace in the seventies, do you remember a guy called Gerald Straube? Charles, My oldman hasn't changed much since this photo was taken - what do you think? :004:
  2. Now you're getting greedy :003:
  3. His second goal was pure (SPL) class. He is obviously playing with confidence now, and I forsee the goals continuing.

He seems to get better with every game. He had a superb game today and was at the heart of most of our attacking moves; but also covered back and broke up Falkirk's play when required. He is the type of midfielder - robust, fast and energetic, that ICT has being crying out for years.
  5. Great football; good goals; off the bottom of the league; lovely weather - what more could one want.
  6. Long may his mature attitude continue :021:
  7. Well today's 3 points were a long time coming but the wait was worth it and what a fantastic winner from Brew. I think now that we have the monkey of our back with having got some points, the team will firstly get off the bottom next week and the go on a little run and climb the table.
  8. Although I think he should have done better on a number of occasions, it's a bit harsh to single Mike out when the defence has not given him sufficient cover. Having said that, we cannot continue to leak goals and Brewster must manage the situation in order to regain the solid defensive form that was the foundation of ICT for the past 3 seasons.
  9. Clacher, totally agree with your post on penalty taking.
  10. I think the loan deal is until Jan 08 - could be wrong though.
  11. CaleyD, I will definitely being going to game - so can you please reserve me a seat for the return journey. Can you let me know where the bus will be parked etc...
  12. There are two defenders lined up, but the deals will only take place if two ICT players are moved on.
  13. CaleyD, I'll let you know for definite tomorrow.
  14. The_Sponge - a good summary of the game, which I on the whole agree with. Black is starting to mature and he is not reacting to bad tackles - long may this continue. Marius is a class act and I am confident he will score many goals and create chances for others. I think Wyness and Marius could go on to form a good partnership. A good confidence boosting win tonight and I hope the team can build on this for the Hibs game.
  15. If there are any spaces left, I would be interested in getting a lift back from Edinburgh. I'm not 100% sure if I'll be going yet but will let you know by Thursday.
  16. You better give good directions for Baltacha to get to the Drumossie, or he might get lost as he did on his way to the Muirtown :004:
  17. Kind of Blue replied to Scotty's topic in Caley Thistle
Scotty, I agree. We must all move forward and for the sake of ICT: get behind the team and management.
  18. Charlie made a serious error by not signing an experienced keeper when Brown left. Fraser has performed reasonably well but he is young and inexperienced - this leaves with us little option if he were to be rested as Ridgers is has less experience. I would welcome the return of Brown or the signing of another keeper next week.
  19. Charles, I agree with most of the points that you made. Although I would have liked Coyle or Warnock to be manager, I will give Brewster my full backing. I'm sure if he gets some good early results the majority of the fans will get behind him.

I wish I had boycotted this thread.
  21. When GB took on the role of Director of Football in 2000 (i think) he did not receive any payment from ICT. I understand that this situation changed within the last two years and he now receives payment. This could be a good question for CaleyD to ask at the AGM next week.
  22. Experience it was this club needs at this point in time, and the man for the job is Warnock. If he is not a viable candidate in terms of salary, then I would go for Brewster.
  23. Thanks for your total commitment to ICT as manager and your good work behind the scenes. If the job was affecting your health and family life, then you've done the right thing by resigning. The club has said it will try to keep you involved in another capacity - and I hope this is the case. All the best.
  24. Robbo can be counted out of the running because David Sutherland ruled him out last time, and even though Sutherland is no longer Chairman, his view will prevail. It will be interesting to what candidates emerge. From the names mentionesd here, I give the thumbs down to: Malpas, Cooper and Alexander. I'm coming round to the possibilty of Brewster, as he could be put in post quickly; he knows the players and the league. He will also be hungry after his United experience and have a point to prove.
  25. Rowan Alexender - now you're talking IHE. I'm sure this will be RIG's informed choice :016:
