Capitalising on the Cup Win
The European game(s) will be a great opportunity to create some kind of carnival atmosphere in the town, and with it being the height of the tourist season efforts might be made to attract visitors to the game.

Cup Final ticket sales
One further consideration is that while the marginally interested might make the effort to travel 10 - 60 miles from Paisley, Kilmarnock, Falkirk or Perth, the 175 miles from Inverness will probably be a disproportionately deterring factor. Indeed, the drive for someone from Falkirk is about the same as someone from Inverness going to Aviemore. Dingwall is further away, little more than a village and they had no trouble mustering a significant support.

What was the home crowd like?- Compliance Officer / Justice for Meekings
A few sensible posters on here predicted this outcome, deflection and ineptitude by the authorities, big fecking surprise.- Compliance Officer / Justice for Meekings
The SFA have succeeded in so far as they have turned this into a spat between the clubs, when really as a few have said, their whole objective has been to deflect anger and attention away from their own bungling referees and administrators.- Compliance Officer / Justice for Meekings
This most likely what it is, take the heat off the refs for a few days, case gets cleared, and SFA can say they did all they could and can everyone now just get on with it.- Inverness CT -V- Celtic (Cup)
You forgot the tongue in cheek smiley at the end too. Honestly, anyone who has ever played football or has any knowledge of it will recognize that it was a clear penalty and that Josh knew it was going past him and did a decent job of feigning lack of intent when in truth he had every intention of blocking the ball by the only means left to him--his hand.- Billy Mckay
He would be a cut above.- The Howden End - 1965 - 1996.
In other news, the Allied Carpets End may not have always been called that either.- Rising star / Mr Ryan Christie!
Good luck to Ryan. What has happened to Liam Polworth? Would be good to have more local lads break through.- Price of Football
Bit of a long walk at half-time SP. - Inverness CT -V- Aberdeen
