Livi banned from signing players?
The key point is that players have a right to have their contracts honoured. Fair play to the footballing bodies who have stood up to Livvy on this occasion. If they had employed an appropriate consultant at the appropriate time this would not have happened.

To Charlie and the squad
When Brewster undermined us we struggled. A bad start and bottom of the pack. 3 points from 5 games but then we humped Motherwell. When Mark was sold we became concerned. When Dennis and Dargs were injured we worried. Up and down we went like a brides nightdress but we survived and did very well. Sentiments to everyone who worked so hard to provide us with SPL membership again next season.

Ross County appoint boss...
This is one of Scotland's best football characters. He nearly always had a quip when Brechin came up for their 5-1 visits. Ross County have also finally got the riight man. Best wishes to him.

Standing areas at Caledonian Stadium?
Plenty on the west terrace - time for the SPL to show a bit more common sense. The singing section has the possibility to be a great success and it may offer a new route into Europe if the government negotiate 1 Eurovision spot for Scotland! Seriously as I have posted elsewhere Saturday was a great success. We need more atmosphere at games and if more people can seek to lift that the better it will be for the Club. I suspect the only time Celtic Park has been quiet this decade was in February....The next big breakthrough at Caledonian Stadium has to be reduced price entrance for singers. If you fail to sing, then you get ejected. Not when you sing.

Singing Section in North Stand
If the wings can be used for the singing section all seats for the designated area should be positively discounted to encourage as many singers as possible. Singing motivates players, generates support for players, creates ££££s.

PETITION FOR EVERYONE WHO IS SHOCKED AND DISGUSTED WITH MIKE SMITH!!
The least the Club could do after checking the facts is offer the ejected fans hospitality at a game next season to say sorry. It would be on the basis that safety rules had not been infringed and that there had been an injustice. I look forward to a legal challenge using evidence that ejections are not consistent i.e. photographic evidence that stewards ignore similar offences in the away section.

Hastings and McAllister...Goal Heroes???
We now know why his mum named him Doris! Just a surprise his dad was not named De Vlexion.

Hastings and McAllister...Goal Heroes???
After Richard's golden goal against Mexico and his Champion's league goal in Russia I am sure today's effort was one of his best. Rory is finishing the season on a high. International recognition and a good sub appearance capped with a goal. When he reaches the full international level the doubters will cringe. Graham Bayne hardly got a mention for 100 appearances the other week - what do players have to do for ICT to get praise? Rossco's 400th - a hero if ever there was one. Even the referee gave him a card today to mark the occasion. Let's not forget Michael Fraser actually kept us in the game today with some top quality saves. Darren Dods actually deserved a massive applause for his outstanding contribution to the club but left quite quietly. Brilliant signing Robbo!!

Time to go Mr Smith
Alan Savage You launched the frozen season ticket prices press release this week with aplomb. Please now show your true loyalty to our fans by taking appropriate action. The atmosphere today was fantastic and definitely lifted the players. So often we seem to see our own supporters discriminated against. The club need supporters and the singing section was a fantastic breakthrough for the true supporters. Why was it spoiled?

PETITION FOR EVERYONE WHO IS SHOCKED AND DISGUSTED WITH MIKE SMITH!!
I would like to know why people were ejected first. On the face of it this could be the biggest hole ever blown in someone's own foot. The Singing Section was fantastic today and exists in every stadium around the world. Let's hope the Club have a valid reason why it was necessary or else the Chief Executive should walk or be given the appropriate notice.

ICT V DAFC Game Thread
Liked Drew Herbertson's quip to Stephen Kenny after Scott Wilsons abortive appeal cost the Pars £1,000 'Thanks for the donation!' A bit of a co-incidence that Dunfermline secured promotion to the SPL in the Caledonian stadium and a little sad they lost it at the same place.

Relegation
Arab forever, have you ever thought of playing football in front of fans like you?

Who's going doon
From the SPL web site Ground Share If a club intends to "ground share" or occupy a ground other than one owned by the club concerned, then such an arrangement requires the approval of the Board of the SPL. And from Gretna Monday, April 30th, 2007 The Scottish Premier League have today approved Gretna’s proposals for a ground share with Motherwell Football Club next season.

Pre Season Friendly v Inverurie Locos
At least 'Locos' has the ring of a top Spanish team.

Who's going doon
The perfect scenario would be Dunfermline's game ends and they are level on points with St Mirren but would be relegated on goal difference if St Mirren scraped a 0-0 draw. There are 5 extra minutes to be playedat Love Street because of fouls and stoppages created by pandas and McPherson's rants at the referee when Sutton scores to make it 1-0. Three minutes to go and Paisley is in euphoric party mood. Then Maxwell scores an amazing own goal and 60 seconds later Bullock brings down Black and is sent off. Nobody wants to take the spot kick until a shy Rossco steps forward, miss hits it but it trickles agonisingly into the net off the post with the stand in keeper diving the other way. St Mirren relegated by one point. Rossco voted Sportsound man of the match by Chick Young.

Scott Leitch has just resigned as manager of Ross County
Brian Irvine will be linked but that will be as far as it goes. I think it should be Duncan Shearer myself.

GREAT QUOTES 2006/07
I quote from the official Ross County F C website (http://www.rosscountyfootballclub.co.uk/Profile.php) 'In 2005 George Adams arrived at Victoria Park as Director of Football. The Former Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen youth supreme took over at a time when the club had revealed financial troubles which forced a drastic cut in expenditure on the First Team. If ever there was case of the right man at the right time this was it.' Expect that quote to be changed shortly.

Charlie Beaten By Dog
Blazin fiddle!

Ian Mccall
If he lets Airdrie win Saturday he won't be highly thought of up the road. Arrogant, self centred paint tin kicker!!

Should Dodds play at Tannadice
He still has to wind Robson up to get him sent off so he can star next season as United's Captain so there is unfinished business. He has set a very high standard at ICT and history shows we will move onwards and upwards. The expectations at Tannadice have risen again recently but in the last decade that's all that has happened to them.

Pars in the final
Dunfermline pick up less bookings and sendings off than United so there's no surprise there then. Ginger one to be sent off Saturday or are you not risking his fiery temper! Anyway, Congratulations to the Pars they deserve this moment. I forgot, congratulations to Dundee United for avoiding relegation yet again.

Singing Section (merged)
The BT advert was a success. Somebody could come up with support for IHE's idea and indeed others. I bet we will be singing at Love Street if St Mirren slip away after their dramatic start to the SPL at Caley Stadium.
-
Mathematically Safe
Weve survived.....we owe it to Dunfermline to sink St Mirren on the last day of the season! By the looks of it Motherwell might struggle next year.

McSwegan Seeks New Deal
Sophia has the best post on this one - Gary was given a great chance by Charlie to cap his career at the top level but it is now 'Adios amigo, thanks for the memories'. Had he scored a few key goals he might be just about in line for a new contract but there are stacks of good players desperate for the SPL who have more to offer.
